° let’s skip the pleasantries. the place is nothing special but for a Filipino its everything a typical tapsilogan we all wanted.° you will get what you will pay for.
We ate 10pm, no queue. The price, very Pocket friendly. Fast preparation for Daingsilog, Sisilog and kikiam with 2 sago’t gulaman drinks. The drinks served were not instant cold, but with ice. So i waited to finish the meal to enjoy it. Not too sweet. The kikiam and chili sauce, u can typically bought at any supermarket. Daingsilog tasted fine. For Sisig, it comes wd bits of ginger. And Liver. Due to price i can say it was reasonable. I should try the other meals for a better judgment.
Most of the food that i want to order are not available. Staff are not attentive and looks like they are not interested to take orders from the customers.
Just a typical cafeteria that serve filipino food like tapsilog or any short order. Price wise it’s reasonable for a person who is not earning big amount of salary. Food wise, they have filipino cook, so that they know the taste of filipino palette. Ambiance very typical, they only have maybe 6 small tables to accommodate a hungry tummy.
I ordered tapsilog and it was good. My friend ordered longgasilog. Their longganisa is a bit sweet. But their lumpia is what we really came for. Their vinegar is superb and it really matched the lumpia which is stunning. However, we are a little full when we came here so we didn’t finish the food. But we takeaway the food and eat everything the next day in the hotel. Lumpia is the highlight of their menu. And it was sold out after a few minutes when we came.
This is the best cafeteria option if you are on a low-budget but craving for pinoy food. All the prices are affordable like ‘carenderia’ ambiance but will definitely satisfy you. The place was small and always occupied, you need to wait some time otherwise take-out the order.
