Swung by Shawarma Street for dinner. I was surprised at how small the restaurant is. There is seating for no more than 8 people. The majority of their business is delivery. Our order was taken by the cashier who was brusque and unfriendly. Most of the staff there seem sullen. Service was a bit on the slow side. Service 2/5The redeeming factor is the food and it is good. We ordered both the chicken and meat Shawarmas. The Shawarmas were freshly made with more than generous servings of fillings. We ordered the Shawarmas in the house made Pita bread which is excellent. The Shawarmas also come in Saj and Samoun bread. The Shawarma: 5/5 We also ordered a side of fries. Personally, I feel 11 Aed for a small portion of frozen fries is poor value for money and I will pass on this the next time I’m there. They also serve a variety of starters like stuffed vine leaves and Kibbeh. They serve a variety of other sandwiches and Manaish as well. Overall it was a decent dining experience and the food does make up for the unfriendly service in terms of value for money and quality.
they didn’t bring the correct order.. I called and the lady promised to send again but she didn’t. very bad
