A hidden gem in the bar scene of Abu Dhabi. If you’re looking for a casual, mostly quiet drink, Triveni is the spot to go. Beers are across the board some of the cheapest in the city. Music is always low, but sometimes it gets pretty full (mostly on the weekend). In general, a nice place to sit down and have a drink where one doesn’t have to yell over ambient music. I don’t think anyone is going to call triveni the best food spot in the city, but the bar bites are surprisingly good. I’m a fan of the egg curry and the elusive fried chicken livers. Food is mostly South Indian. This is a male dominated space, and I can imagine females feeling a little uncomfortable walking in here alone.
