Such a chill space. So quiet and comfortable, takes you back in time. The view is nice before sunset. Fried calamari was my favorite. Visited there more than couple of times and I love it.

I visited Black Pearl after work on a Wednesday evening with few colleagues. You see a big Mcgettigan’s and that’s how you know you have arrived to your destination. It’s just next to al raha mall. The hospitality when you enter the hotel was not great but not bad either. We had to ask around for where the bar is. When we reached Black Pearl, the place was very quite with no other guests around. This was expected given a weekday. We chose a table which had pool view from the window. The pool was busy with people. It was a decent view. They have few offers going around such as 4 corona plus a pizza for 129 dhs. Fish and chips and a beer for 89 dhs. They also have emirates NBD as well as Etihad discount which is great. The pricing of drinks is good. We went for the first offer and ordered a barbecue chicken pizza. The pizza tasted pretty good. No complaints. The service was really good. The guy was always around if we needed anything and also gave the group bit privacy. But then this was with not many other guests around. This can always change when the place is crowdedThe ambience is basic with chairs and tables divided into few sections and a bar at the corner. They have good and dim lighting. Comfortable and laid back arrangement. But the music was missing. I don’t know if this was because Ramadan was starting next day or they don’t play any music. Probably the first reason.The place lacked the spirit of good crowd and good music. Just a good enough bar where you can probably come with work colleagues and enjoy drinks over a good chat.
