We were at Buddha Bar St. Regis for lunch. There is only one word that can describe our experience: BAD. The portions are small, the prices are super high, the service is slow (waited 20 min for a mixed leave salad). 1. mixed leave salad – BLAND (and they charge 60 AED for smth I could make at home much better for max 20 AED probably)2. avocado nigiri – nice, but 40 AED for TWO pieces3. Taco – my fiance felt horrible the whole day because one of the tacos had OLD fish in it (he mentioned that it tasted bad and fish seemed frozen – unfortunately it was too late)4. Ceviche – honestly, if you have tried ceviche in some latin American restaurants, you would definitely be disappointed. Guess what was the best dish ?! FRENCH FRIES. It’s disappointing to see that restaurants only survive because of their names but offer poor quality of food/service that is highly priced (just because of the name and location).
