Good option for shisha and some Arabic fare in Yas island. Outstanding shisha, great service and Saj sandwiches. Had Saj with cheese and Zatar which was yum. Great Moroccan tea to go with it. Probably need some work to be done on presentation of food.

Good food, the cold appetizers are phenomenal although a little over priced. The stuffed grape leaves deserve a special mention, for they are so good! I ordered the Okra with rise and wasn’t disappointed, although it did have some chewy parts. My sister ordered the Musaka with rise and it was great!

This is a great place to enjoy a brunch with entertainment, a great view of the pool and let’s not forget the delicious options. The price is quite reasonable for what you are getting and if you wanna see a belly dancer then come in the evening. Oh forgot to mention the shisha of course. The cuisine is mainly Lebanese and has a wide selection of mamas food type like koussa and wara2 enab ( zucchini and vine leaves), also some nice meat and cheese pastries. The dessert options were also great from healthy fruit, cakes and various types of backlava, but I must say I always go for the umm ali ( which is a sweet bread pudding). Happy brunching everybody.

We were greeted amiably upon arrival and were led into a dimly-lit dining where each table are covered in clean white cloths and comfortable gray chairs. The stage area is equipped with musical instruments which later create a vibrant atmosphere when the Arabic lady singer sang. If you plan to visit at night, expect a live belly dancing. A wide selection of shisha is also served. There was an outside terrace seating which I guess more pleasing when the weather is bearable. It was a fun afternoon brunch over good conversations with Arabic authentic food and music! The venue’s slickness did not diminish from the authenticity of the cuisines. Devotees of Middle Eastern dishes will surely be delighted in the extensive mezze selection while beginners can try the well-thought out set menu. The restaurant menu consists of the anticipated hot and cold mezze options, grilled and fried meats, extensive sweet desserts, but with the addition of a few pizzas which is not present on the brunch but available in their menu. For cold mezzes which were served on our table, apart from the breads we had two types of hummus (typical hummus and hummus beiruti), muttabal, tabouleh, fatoush, warak enab, labneh bil toum and loubieh bil zeit. My favorites would be the fatoush, muttabal and tabouleh. My husband wasn’t a fan of vegetables but still he tried each one and he liked the fatoush most. Trying out the hot mezzes on buffet style, we tried kibbeh sajieh, batata harrah, jawaneh dajaj, shrimps provencale. I like the kibbeh sajieh and the shrimps provencale which are both satisfyingly delicious! I had lentil soup in between. Continuing with the main course, the kebab and shish tawouk was my husband’s favorite partnered it with vermicelli rice. With our barely no room stomach, we tried the Arabic desserts which most variety are very sweet and not to my liking. But the husband of course like it so much that he had two rounds of desserts.Service is not forced and neither is a vibrant atmosphere. Crowne Plaza‘s Lebanese Barouk restaurant is worth a try if you find yourself craving after Lebanese food on Yas Island. The place is not only ideal for couple or friends gathering but also with business meetings looking for a good service and pleasant atmosphere over rich Lebanese traditional food. themomentkeepers.com

Had been on a vacation with family and stayed at crowne plaza in the 3rd week of April . Thought of trying out this restaurant after one of the chef in their other restaurant highly recommended it. So here we were for our dinner and chose our seats as there was only one female attending to the guests and taking their orders . We waited patiently for about 10 min for her to take our order but looking at her it seemed she was least interested in attending to the guests and we felt unwelcomed . So just left the place.Well I alone came back the next day in the afternoon and as already had some Arabic and Lebanese in the morning breakfast chose to have pizza . Being vegetarian asked the person taking my order to get me a veg pizza on the menu and well prepared. On the arrival of my pizza was stunned looking at it . Had to break open a slice of pizza to know what’s there in it and after having a bite felt I couldn’t even have that one morsel in my mouth and had to spit it out . Never ever have I had such a worse kind of pizza which was half cold, half done base with lot caramelised onion spread on the whole pizza and lot of cheese over it and unable to figure out the cheese they had used . Called up the person who had taken the order and sent the pizza back after giving him a dressing down . Better to avoid this place with many other option available to try out on the island .
