  This is our all time favorite Emirati restaurant in the capital! The ambiance and view overlooking al muneera beach is wonderful.The food holds authentic Emirati flavor.Legaimaat here is a benchmark you compare to when you try legaimaat elsewhere. Tastes like my mom’s legaimaat.Chammi with dates here is great and not heavy. Portion is just enough. Their sweet potato fries”fendal” is very good.My father’s favorite spot whenever he is in the capital. Especially camel milk!The breads here are baked the old way which is authentic and tasty.Rice dishes like machboos is also yummy and perfectly spiced not filled with spices like in some restaurants that ruin all the taste and flavor.Highly recommended. We come here nearly weekly. We already know staff by name 🙂

  We ordered:•Harees: this was the best, tasty, fresh and tastes like homemade.•Fareed: the spices of this dish taste really good, but the bread was rough and I was able to feel that. The chicken was not so fresh.•Mashwi: This was nice, lamb with regag bread, it was fresh. But was loaded with raisins.•Arabic coffee: tasty.•Lugaimat: so yummy and hot. This is also one of the best desserts.Overall good, I like to go their mostly to have breakfast because if the quality of the breakfast along with the beautiful outdoor area.

  I came to this restaurant four time and it is fantastic as traditional Emirati restaurant. There food fresh and so delicious, you can feel the real local food test. The staff wear very welcoming and design of the restaurant is unique.

  Love the food and love the service. It’s one of those places you dine at once and feel the urge to return soon after! I appreciate being able to get a deliciously decedant Emirati style meal outside of home!The machboos diyay is fantastic, and you absolutely have to try the ligeemat at the end of your meal!

  Few cafes/restaurants have had a real taste of Emirati cuisine. But i loved the taste behind this spot . The presentation of the food itself clicked me from first visit . Ive tried the Emirate breakfast , the portion was more than enough in comparison as a one person meal . Their karak tea pot is also great . The staff, Enviroment and everything is really cool .. Its imparting a lesson in cultural tourism that reflects uae . Thumbs up

  Our usual order is either plain Karak or saffaron Karak with lugaimat.The staff are very pleasant especially Loui and candy. My favorite place to get together with girlfriends
