If there is a 0 rating i will add it as they dont even deserve to be rated 1I reserved with them and when i arrived at the boarding time i found some one of the crew told me that it will be not working today and nobody did send an apology mail or by phone to say that it will be cancelled !!The boat seems to be very old and bad lookingNot recommending to any one to try this shit !
I wish I’d read reviews about this restaurant before making a booking. I understood why they ask you to make the payment in advance, it’s only because nobody would be willing to pay for the crappy food and service once they visit the place.I’m so dissapointed that I chose this place for an Eid dinner cruise. What was supposed to be a nice family dinner turned out to be nothing more than a night with everyone cribbing and coming back home hungry. The food was HORRENDOUS. Spat out almost every dish I tried. Thank you Rikks floating restaurant for spoiling our Eid.

We had horrible experience at the boat :1. Very worn out boat, as seen in pics.2. Food was terrible with very low quality and poor display as seen in pics.we didn’t touch or take any of it, my kids were with me and of course they refused any.3. Tried to ask for a manager, found none on board.4. Took number of the manager, called mr Salman, i complained about the food, and asked him how come there is no manager on board, he told me that there is a manager on board called Tariq, and he will let him come to me right away and will call me right after that. Tariq turned out yo be a waiter and not a manger. Called Salman back and of course he didn’t answer back and sent me an sms to call Mr Mazher the other operations manager. I smsed him back and asked him out of respect u should call me back, he said sorry i am in a rush.5. Called Mr Mazhar, who was not professional at all, not willing to listen to customers at all, he said that to make it short and not to waste time will refund you 100 dhs, told him on what basis was this amount decided, out of 450 dhs , he said its his discretion, he was very aggressive on call, no patience , sarcastic of how much time i talked about the problem, i ended up the call with him and i decided to put a review rather than dealing with them again.I have to add that the waiters were humble and trying their best to please us but they still need training and change in theor looks.Thank u so much for ur service and quality, pictures attached for proof, and no money or refund is required after all this terrible experience.Highly not recommended.
Had the cruise experience today. Had booked 4 days ago and paid aed 400 online. When we reached there people were paying on spot and had reserved tables. I was told that i had no reservation. The crew/ staff member misbehaved too.Dinein experience: The food was just ok. The mandi rice , fish with white sauce was the only item that stood out. Rest salad was ordinary, the shashlick was rock solid. While chicken gravy was better, pudding was fine, um e Ali was substandard. Pakoras and samosa were substandard.View: The view and cruise is good but not much places to view. Its better to try corniche cruises.However, there are not much of options in Abu Dhabi for floating restaurants. RIKKS (in YAS) and a dhow cruise and jalboot ( in corniche) are the only 3 choices available in Abu dhabi.AED 400 for 4 persons booking, which is quite expensive compared to cruise of same quality and better view available in dubai marina and corniche at almost half the price for 4 people. The zomato price of AED 200 and 15% discount is misleading as they did not apply any discount on my booking. Further the child below 4 yrs are also charged which as per various webticket sellers like groupon for same company (Rikks) is free and price was 390 for 4.
we tried this floating restaurant for iftar in 2014 during the ramadan season. we asked before we booked if they were serving arabic food and they confirmed. only to find out that its not arabic and most of the food were spicy which is not advisable especially for people who are fasting. we raised our concerns to the management and gave suggestions on how they can improve.this year, we tried again for ramadan iftar in the hopes that they improved their service. well, it changed quite a bit but still below expectation. one particular food I cannot forget was the pasta in red sauce (as the nameplate says). we dag deeper into the pan in search of pasta but it seems they forgot to put the pasta noodle and put eggplants instead. the food will cover the hunger but nothing remarkable. no happy tummy after.
