A far cry from the name. I have never been to Lahore but I am sure this restaurant does not represents the flowers of Lahore. Kabab Kadai and Saag is the only dish worth talking about. Good taste, portion size can be improved. Very small space for families (two tables) with just a flimsy curtain hanging in the doorway separating the ‘singles’ from ‘couples’. A heads up, please check your bill twice before paying. Once is a mistake twice is a bit too much of a coincidence. Service is slow from kitchen. Cleanliness average. Staff sluggish. Cashier does not cares.
One of those lazy afternoons and a pakistani food craving, decided to give this small restaurant a try. Ambience is OK and not the greatest for a family dining. The staff is like any other mediocre Cafeteria where they don’t like to be bothered unless you raise your voice and call them. Karahi took about 10 minutes to arrive which does not serve well for a small restaurant where people come for quick dining. Finally I had to ask again, where my food was and then a staff came and asked me what my order was. It seems the food was ready in kitchen to be served but forgotten. My order:Mutton karahi – 2/5Spicy with lot of added pepper. Served in the pan itself. Mutton did not taste fresh and was bad. Just cooked and spiced well. Rotti – 4/5The Rotti was nice thin and soft. Special karak tea – 4/5Tea was good. Nothing special though.
I must admit I came here by accident, looking for a place with a slightly similar name and located a few buildings away.I ordered a Mutton Biriyani, and got the order well within the expected time. The flavor of Biriyani was quite similar to the restaurant I actually intended ordering from, however the quantity was bit less and it was more oily. In order to ensure that you don’t forget the origins of this cuisine, they pack a bowl of oil to go to ensure your memories are well greased.Overall, the food was good, but a little too oily for my comfort. Eating in seems a bit tricky though, the place is packed in the evening.
Sorry to say but one of the worst food i have in near mussafah area. I ordered food after reading reviews but it was completely opposite. In chicken biryani the chicken was very tough n old meat was used n korma didn’t even feel like having it as it was same like chicken curry. I don’t know who are the ones preparing food but the don’t know whats mughlai food is all about. Worst experience ever. Food reached after 1 hour for the above small order. Please choose wisely
Honestly this is the best place to go if you’re craving some good Pakistani food. The food is always served hot and delicious. It’s very pocket friendly and quality of food is amazing
I have only tried their chicken biryani. Amazing chicken biryani. The best in Abu Dhabi clearly. They biryani rice themselves have a lot of taste. It’s clean and it’s a hit, so it runs out most of the time, so call before going.
Food is good! But the guy who is attending the take away orders has some attitude problem it seems , He’s talking as if he is doing a great favor !! Very bad response !!! Not recommended!!
