Loved their food. There’s this very unique dessert that am trying for the first time – made of rice. Hospitality is really great- excellent. They have shisha, huge outdoor seating area, spacious indoor seating with seperate area for families. A small cafe setup to grab tea or snacks on the go. A live cooking station dailywalkss.wordpress.com
Your new go to place for Pakistani & Shinwari food. I was invited for the launch event and we got to try some of their special dishes. We were welcomed with their special tandai – Rabdi Shake, Lassi and Banana shake. I tried the Rabdi Shake obviously and loved every bit of it sort of like a cross between falooda and shake. It was yum . Then we got to try the appetizers which is like perfect for this weather hot and freshly made samosas, mixed veg pakoras, Shami kebabs / cutlets and a green salad. As for the main course was their roti basket with Naan, Afghani Roti, etc. to be honest you could only sit and nibble at the rotis but then they served us with their Mutton Kadahi which is one of the perfect combination with the rotis. Along with this was Saag and the Shinwari Chicken. Saag had a lovely flavor and for the Shinwari chicken it is mild in taste. Their highlight is the Rice Platter with assorted kebabs – Chapli Kebab, Shami kebab, Sheekh kebab. We ended our dinner with some Rasmalai and Gulab Jamuns. They have a large seating area and even a small private area if you wish to treat friends. The outside seating area is too good especially in winters. The outside seating is apt for the Sheesha lovers. But if you don’t mind the sheesha and just want some good tea and snacks and a good time with friends for that this place is good too. And what’s more exciting is they have Tandoori Chai and Tandoori Coffee as well. I got to try the Tandoori Chai and it was really nice. This place is great to go with a crowd or bunch of friends- seating is sorted, parking is easy and food is good and pocket friendly too.
Masalaghar Restaurant is a newly opened Pakistani restaurant which offers Pakistani and Afghani food. They are located in Mussaffah and has quite a spacious sitting area both indoor and outdoor. They specialize in shinwari food more than other cuisine. We tasted their mutton handi, white chicken handi, special assorted grill with kabsa rice, palak chicken, assorted breads and in starters they presented us with punjabi samosas, chicken tikki, pakoras, and welcome drink which was rubbery and milk shakes. It was a nice Dinning experience with them. Since they follow Afghani style of cooking more their food isn’t that spicy or tangy that normal desi foodie looks for yet they have authentic shinwari food which tastes exactly like an Afghani cuisine. Their staff was very humble and attentive to all the customers or guests around. Since it’s a new venture so I’d like to wish them all the best. I’d give it a 3.5*
The place is newly opened, but they know about the customer preferences. Good food, good dining area, very hospitable staff.Vegetarian options and non vegetarian options are plenty.Flavourful food, can be customized as per requirement.Shisha is available in different flavours.Deserts are plenty like kheer, jalebi, rasgulla, gulabjamun etc.Tandoori tea is amazing, you can ask for strong or light tea.150 covers and spread inside and outside, is a real experience in musaffah. We went from the main city and still loved it.Outside dining is great for winters.Try the kababs, samosas, pakodas, saaf is very yummy and chicken and mutton are also very carefully done.Presentation wise it’s ok, but the rates are unmatched and very good for everyday eating too..
