Tasty Darbar Restaurant is trying live upto it’s name and is doing a fine job at it. Not very high on ambiance and location, but whatever they lack on those two categories they make up for it on service and taste. Their Chana and Nihari for breakfast is my favorite, which you have option of enjoying either with a Kerala Paratha (small), dry pakistani paratha (big) or just plain dosa. Sunday and Thursday they have kadi pakoda which is another of my favorite. I have seen plenty of white collar workers rubbing shoulders with blue collar workers in this restaurant all for the sake of enjoying good food. During lunch hours the staff will make sure they serve you hot tandoori roti with your meal. Skip their biryani. You can finish off your meal with a nice hot cup of karak tea. Been a loyal customer of this restaurant for some time and have never been disappointed. Very easy on your wallet making it excellent value for money.
