I was at lobby lounge of Marriott al Forsan on 21.12.17The hotel is up to standard of all Marriotts and even more. The exterior is amazing, when you step in the hotel you feel the perfect aroma 🙂 The lobby lounge has friendly staff. Great variety of pastry and teas. So I had 40 minutes to work with my emails. I had my chocolate croissant and jasmine green tea. The tables at the lobby lounge are really low. I had to keep my laptop on my knees, what wasn’t comfortable. That’s the only negative about my experience.
This amazing eatery is located on the ground floor of the Marriot hotel Al Forsan. First of all I just love this hotel and the hospitality of the staff over there that I wish to visit them all the time. This was our first time we visited this lounge for our afternoon tea. They have a set menu for the tea platter and that looks so good. The first tier of the set up includes dry cakes and bakery items, second tier includes the most yummiest and moist pasteries or cake bites with cute caricatures on them due to the festive season around. The thirst and last tier includes little saltish delights. There had a sushi pie, macaron, cucumber sandwich etc. Their donut shots were amazing in taste and really different from what we have in market. Along with this platter we had an americano and cappuccino. Both were very strong. I also ordered a vanilla latte which they customized for me and it turned out to be great. I loved latte more than cappuccino. This is their promotional afternoon tea platter with unlimited hot beverages of your choice. I must say that it’s a steal deal. Do try them out. And o yeah they make some awesome cakes too.
