The restaurant name goes by the food they serve! True gujrati food. Don’t get mistaken by the size of the restaurant.Unlike typical commercial restaurants Al Asli serves food made fresh and hygienic. I have personally meet the family who run the restaurant and they are very kind and welcoming. Must try items include Chole samosa Thali Vada pav .Certainly not limited to the above items i will be trying all the other dishes they serve. Also the way they make and arrange their sweets are so tempting. Do make place to try them.

Small veg restaurant in sanaya yet produces tasty and delicious Gujarati food. Value for money. We love their sweets especially motichur laddu, jelabi and kaju katli. Tasty samosas too.
Rated higher due to good experience in the past. But take away last evening was not as good!!Dhokla was hard and crumpled into bits & wasn’t tasty. It was not spongy. The enjoyable, typical topping of chilly & grated coconut was missing. Samosa was soft with very little filling, though the filling tasted alright. Fafdi (a fried variety of savouries) was not very fresh & crispy. I had good experiences earlier when we picked up from here for home & treat in the office on several occasions. Look forward to their earlier quality.
Very nice food. Love everything on the menu. Specially the thali system is amazing. I love the kaju katli they make as well as watermelon sweet and the sugar free dry fruit sweet.
