My Experience @ Al Ghawas Restaurant KitchenFriday, September 2017 Take way or Dine inAmbience : 3/5Staff: 3/5 Courteous Food: 3/5One of the oldest Kitchen restaurant in Al Zahra Area, bit spacious and can dine in. Good for Madbi and Mandi. But they dont serve rice at night its Only grill. If your looking for rice item like biryani/Madbi/Mandi. then its before 3pm. As experienced, once at night wanted to have rice, but they said we don’t serve rice at night only grill and charcoal. You need to order. About home delivery I don’t have clue.

Have seen this place many times while driving by, but never bothered to try it until now. The place has a public kitchen vibe from out. Decided to give the place a try; well its nothing like what it seems to be from the out the place has a plush interior seating fit for families. The space is not much, but its clean and has a premium feel to it. Not sure if they have a floor seating arrangement here. The menu has all the usual mandi items along with a wide variety of grill items. The salad is in buffet setting and doesn’t cost extra; you have tabbouleh, rocket leaves salad, pickle and salsa as a buffet placement. The soup they serve is chicken soup and quite nice. I decided to try the Mutton Makboos, the food arrives in caseroles here and not in the usual mandi plates. The portion as usual are great and the mutton was brilliant the rice was well flavored too. The price for the dish was 35 dhs. Its well priced but for a similar price you get better nearby at Sikeek & Kitchen Yadoo which are home favorites for a brilliant Mutton makboos. The service team has been great and friendly. Its worth visiting if you are nearby or if you prefer more subtle flavor for your Majboos. But overall a great find and will definitely recommend a visit and the place being family friendly is a bonus.

Heared good reviews about their harees and fareed. Yesterday i got to have their harees. A perfect blend of meat and wheat. It was soft and tasty.!I must say one of the best harees i had in this ramadan. A must try, value for your money. Hope to try their fareed soon.

Not the best place to have Arabic food, they take ages to deliver so don’t even think of a home delivery from there, this place is hyped up too much and overpriced !
