If you have the appetite of an Elephant but the spending power of a rat then Achayan’s is for you 😉 When I was new in Ajman I would often visit them with my colleagues and we would be all hungry as hell. While Achayan’s is a dedicated Mallyali outing with such generous unlimited servings that getting your money’s worth is never a problem. But their taste is yumm and vegetarian options are quite aplenty as well. At just 13 Dirhams, their vegetarian thali is a big hit complete with unlimited dessert, choice of rasam, subzees and mota/patla rice. Non veggies can binge on that and more. Plus they start the lunch with a serving of a warm jeera water that’s a good digestive. I went there once for dinner expecting the same largess and came back disappointed cos it’s all a la carte,. But go lunching, by all means!

Moreover, Very poor etiquette by the staff. I was served a biriyani with the waiter’s index finger deep inside the food !!!! Its high time the concerned authorities step in and do the needful ASAP

My first impression is not very positive on the first delivery order. They use standard names of dishes in the menu (no pictures seen) but when the order is received the dish is different. When inquired they simply say this is how they make that dish. So I think you might need to be careful if you’re hungry for a particular dish you want. Because you might receive surprisingly a different one.
One of the worst food I ever had in Ajman .Ordered chicken Tikka masala and kolapuri , both of the gravy tasted very bad .Also bought porotta which was too bad and uncooked . I am so surprised that this is a kerala restaurantBad weekend please stay away from this restaurant.Ordered through zomato.On top of all this blunder the delivery took almost 90minutes .
Normally they deliver late like 90-120 minutes. Food is ok and has taste but I do wonder in non veg orders where the flesh/meat goes coz I normally get mostly bones. Yesterday the delivery was superfast but dishes same full of bone as before. Porota was nice.For the price, the quantity is ok.
