A name like Vegan Hut in a place like Ajman. This itself means the restaurant can go either ways. It can be either be too good or too bad. Sadly in this case it’s the latter. I have only eaten here once and the little portions I had of the Punjabi food made me realise that this restaurant is soon going down and now it is, There is a sign that reads RESTAURANT ON SALE pasted outside it now. And btw, I am not sure if it’s vegan it is vegetarian. It is overpriced for Ajman for sure but I really wish it had what it takes to provide good tasty vegetarian food then I would still not mind paying, but from its ambiance to finally what comes on your table, everything here reeks of disinterest.

Quality of food and portions are good in this place. This place is not vegan as the name says. It’s a pure vegetarian place. They have good sizzlers and chat options. Chefs at this place seems experimental and contemporary you find a twist in every dish. Don’t expect standard Indian taste.
I was craving for some samosas, and found this new place. Ordered samosas, bread pakodas and dahi bhalla.Everything was just terrible. Samosas and bread pakoda had same filling. It was stuffed with potatoes, 2-3 peas and huge amount of turmeric. We could taste the rawness of turmeric and nothing else. It didn’t even come with any sauces.Dahi bhalla was equally terrible. You get two pakodas in it, and watery dahi which had slight sweet and sour taste. And no toppings too.Definitely the worst Chaat I’ve ever tried.
Good food no doubt about it, good setup. Yesterday was third time and all 3 times same experience as below.Worst service, waiter change attitude if u request ingredients in order, another glass of hot water, can not believe she said no to serve dish to plates 🙂 ‘ I can place it on the table you can get it served’ was the answer :)Felt like they mock customers in Tagalog, keep laugh by looking at customer. If they can laugh between them, y can’t they be with smile with customers. Y I pen down this Because when they have good chef and setup, effort should not go waste because of these small reasons. As well as mine I paid 124/- for 3 people in Ajman location, not to face humiliation.
Food is gr8 , typical north and Bombay taste which is almost nowhere in Ajman. Thanks to the chief. And for veg lover it’s Haven. Also keep in mind that its a very very costly restaurant.But I gave 1 star just because of other nationality on counter, who doesn’t know the Indian cuisine and can’t understand what I was telling them, also once I was served they don’t pay attention if I wanted anything else just because they become very busy in chatting amongst them selves. I am writing this based on experience not once but twice. I hope Owner who has put so much efforts for this restaurant will read this and understand.
