We all have a favorite street food restaurant, mine is definitely manoushe street ! They have extended their lovely food chain to Ajman too, locates at CityLife in Tallah. What you see here is their yummy Chicken spinach sandwich, swipe to see the yummy tikka sandwich and hotdog pizzas! We started off with their special salad. Their chicken burek filled with grilled chicken and some creamy spinach on a crusty dough is a great and unique dish to try. We also tried their chicken tikka wrap which is a spicy option here with grilled chicken and some mayo-mint sauce. The chickpea hummus with chicken shawarma is some delicious treat you will definitely love, especially with their hot hot bread. You might definitely want to sip some soft drinks to enjoy these delicious dish up here. Totally loved the ambiance here with the spacious indoor seating area. The staffs were very friendly and kind with their quick service.
Food is good but service is unsatisfactory! We visited Manoushe Street, a Lebanese restaurant, in Ajman for a Friday dinner. There is comfortable seating with a direct entry/exit to the car park of the mall.We were informed by the staff, Chloe and Chef Durba, that as they have many orders, we will have to wait. We agreed to wait, but we had to wait for 45 minutes before our order arrived! The table and seating were not cleaned after the previous customer had left. Here is a review of what we tasted:1. Beverages: Tai tea – both peach and pomegranate flavors were good. They can be served more chilled, especially in summer.2. Sujouk wrap: It was fresh and tasty.3. Three cheese pizza: Compared to their other pizzas, like the barbeque chicken and spicy sujouk, this one was too sour – I expected to taste three types of cheese, but the taste of the cheese was drowned by the sour taste.4. Cheese n zaatar manakeesh: It was warm and delicious.5. Desserts: NONE!!! We wanted to taste their Desserts, so we ordered for cheesecake. But we were told that it was sold out, although it could be seen in their glass refrigerator. They said that another customer had ordered for it. They did not have any stock! (Being a Friday, they need to ensure that there is enough stock). So, we ordered for Nutella halawa with banana, but the Chef Durba refused, saying that they were busy with too many orders, and could not make it for us! We could have waited if he said it would take time, but refusing to take an order point blank?!! He could have been more polite when saying that. The staff needs to be trained with customer service and etiquette. (A suggestion: They need to be prepared for a Friday rush of deliveries and customers – it should not be an excuse for inefficient service). The ambience is pretty good, although in a mall. Free parking is available just outside the restaurant.Price – 4/5Presentation 4/5Taste – 3/5Service – 1/5Value for money – 4/5Ambience and cleanliness – 2.5/5OVERALL – 3/5Subscribe to our YouTube channel – RipplezzGalloreFollow me on Instagram – @carolmathias17Like us on Facebook – @RipplezzGallore
Manoushe street at Ajman has a very cozy little setting right in front of the carrefour supermarket inside a mall, that serves some traditional Lebanese home style street food. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which would be perfect in the cooler months. It’s brightly lit with comfortable seating and an open kitchen where you can enjoy a visual sight of your food being prepared by the crafted chefs. Overall, the entire place has a very welcoming vibe and makes you comfortable instantly. We started off with lemonade and orange juice. Orange juice was very fresh with no added sugar was very refreshing. Lemonade was a bit too sour for my tastebuds. Then we asked for cheesy potato wedges and fried halloumi in the pan. I absolutely loved the halloumi cheese, with a slight crispy base and oh so deliciously salty soft on top. Sprinkled with zaatar on top, it tasted fantastic. Now who wouldn’t like potato wedges?? Add in some cheese to it and yet another delightful dish is ready to be devoured. Though it got cold, by the time I clicked pics but still I loved munching on it.Then I had their newly launched vegan protein wrap. If healthy food is this tasty, I don’t mind it having every day. This vegan wrap was such a delight to have, amazing flavours with pomegranate pearls giving such a fruity punch. This wrap would be my staple whenever I’ll be visiting Manoushe street again. We also tried their three cheese pizza, thin crust, superbly cheesy and tasted great too. Ending on a sweet note we had their kunafa, another simple yet a delicious creation by the chefs. Apt sweetness that was wonderfully balanced by the cheesiness. Delicious!!!The staff was very courteous and provided great recommendations. Overall, this place is a perfect place to grab a quick grub after shopping at the Carrefour or simply a great dining spot with friends and family alike. The food was very fresh that tasted so good and I am definitely going to be back to try more of their dishes from the menu. Certainly recommended!!!!
A small restaurant in City Life Tallah which looked great from the out. Since we were craving for some Arabic food especially manakeesh. The flavours were not there. Very disappointing. The only thing good was they wrapped their manakeesh like a wrap. So presentation wise very good and easier to eat as well. But manakeesh bread is thick and double or triple the layer makes it difficult to chew.
