Food was too oily and chicken very chewy. Soup had no taste and kimchi was bad. Plus when I called for delivery order and spoke to the manager he just couldn’t be bothered and gave phone to the receptionist who didn’t understand my order or English!?! No thank you! Will never order from here again.
Never imagined that we had this authentic Korean restaurant just next to Al Zahra Hospital in Al Barsha. Well it boasts that it is Korean and “Japanese” but it is not Japanese food but surely yes for Korean at least from the tongue of Japanese expat. Loved Bibimpa here!
When all dish served on your table are all korean food, there’s no way to escape eating spicy, healthy and fresh food. It was an amazingly best experience learning the korean eating culture.I enjoy the whole dining experience and we would definitely come back. Food are amazing especially the appetizer.
Searching for Korean cuisine near home and I found this.Sadly, it is too common, I cannot remember the taste compared to other competitors.Bulgogi is forgivable, the rest are forgettable. It is also pricey for its taste and service. I didn’t enjoy the experience, sadly.Parking is available outside. Credit card accepted
I like eating in this place. I enjoy the appetizers of kimchi and vegetables. We got the sharing korean platter which includes grilled beef, spicy chicken, spicy squid, tempura shrimps, dumplings, glass noodles, rice and soup. Everythings was so tasty and fresh.
We tried Koreana for a dinner , it’s hidden in a calm locality of AlBarsha. The staff is very courteous and helpful in making choices easy for you. We ordered Marinated Beef LunchBox as that includes rice and ban chan. We also ordered Spicy Beef and Squid Grill alongwith some Sushi which tell call rice rolled in SeaWeed. The Banchan was awesome including bean sprouts, zuchini, beans, cucumber, radish and some bokchoy. The variance in crunch, spicy, sour and fresh flavours was perfection. We used the banchan in making rolls later on too, while the starters themselves were awesome palate cleansers. The marinated beef looked like it was steamed but it came on a sizzler. Regardless it had a very clean flavor without any funkiness and the meat was tender and juicy. Similarly the spicy beef and squid came on a sizzler and was definitely deep on flavor with the spicy depth, the meat again was done perfectly. You get giant lettuce leaves to roll your meat into which you can mix and match with the Ban Chan and the fermented Soy based sauce they give. We had ordered rice on the side, which we enjoyed both inside the rolls. And with the meat toppings. The sushi was good too but the other items were far awesome in their flavour profiles. All in all we had a great experience. The food was flavour filled and very tasty. The abundance of vegetables helped keep the overall feel very fresh and light not overwhelming the stomach. The staff was very gratious refilling our banchan when needed and very helpful in our choices. Definitely worth trying again.
