A great place for some Iranian cuisine. We ordered for the chicken yogurt kebabs which were awesome. Tender and succulent pieces of chicken. We also ordered for Hommus and the cream of chicken soup. Overall experience was good.
This outlet is in Food Court of Barsha Mall. Food is a mix of Arabian and Persian delicacy. Lamb Biryani is good, much like Mundi then Indian Biryani. However both rice and lamb had its prominent flavor. Ambiance 3.0Service 3.5Food 3.0
It was nice experience with this restaurant
We discovered this Iranian Place in Al Barsha Mall food court when we took our son to KidVille . We ordered Lamb Chops with Saffron rice & Barberries, Laban Ayran and Shirazi Salad and the Lamb Chops were so tasty and well balanced. Next time we ordered their Chicken Zafran Kebab and Yoghurt Kebab and they were well cooked too.
Delivery was quick! I always liked their food specially the okra and the grills and the yoghurt that goes with it. Didn’t expect it will be that fast.
Mood to have some salad. So decided to order fatoosh.it was yummy and u get good portion size which could be shared among 3 to 4 people for just 12 AED. Had it with some laban which was refreshing. Host was friendly too.
Morwarid is one of two Persian-Iranian restaurants in the Barsha Mall food court, the other being Rivas (previously Niloo’s Express). Along with no less than three mandi joints, they share a common dining area besides the children’s play area, not the most ideal place for date night or a business meeting. The food at Morwarid has its moments, their kababs particularly so. Play safe and go for what they call the Mix Morwarid; it comes with a short skewer each of Chicken Masti, Meat Lemon, Koobideh, and Joojeh, which can be had with either rice or bread and fries. They also have a selection of readymade Khoresh, or stews. I found their Khoresh-e Bamiyeh (Okra) very good. That said, I didn’t think much of their Mast Moosir which was (wrongly) made with garlic instead of Persian shallot. BOTTOM LINE: if you’re in the mall and craving Persian-Iranian food, the Mix Morwarid should not disappoint.Waste NOT. Want NOT.
