Instagram: @thehungriestmanI was invited by Simply Oishii to try out different items from their menu. Simply Oishii is a Japanese cafe located in Al Barsha. If you’re looking for a Japanese cafe in Dubai, this place won’t fail to impress you.The ambience was amazing and is the most unique part of this cafe. It’s very colourful inside, and there’s a Japanese vibe and touch in every aspect of the cafe. This is what I got – Hazelnut Latte, Chocolate Brownie Parfait, and Japanese Cheesecake. My favourite was the Chocolate Brownie Parfait – it looks good, and tastes even better! It’s an amazing dessert, and can easily be shared by 2-3 people. The Hazelnut latte was also really good, and I liked the unique way it was served in, and the Japanese Cheesecake was also really good, but it a bit small.Taste: 9/10Price: 8/10Service: 8/10Ambience: 9/10Overall Rating: 8.5/10For more great pictures, checkout @thehungriestman on Instagram 😉

Japanese Cafe was on our list for quite sometime and we came across Simply Oishii through Instagram. They offer a variety of delicious desserts at reasonable rates. A great place to chill with friends and family. And while we wait for our order to be served, we can do some japanese craft work which will be hing around their cafe.Interiors: Simple pink interiors with Japanese artifacts and floral ceiling. What we had?1. Chocolate Brownie Parfait- Yummy layers of chocolate, caramel, brownies and lotus crumbs in the perfect ratio. This was surely the showstopper of the day.2. Creme Puff- Yummy, cute looking edibles. A must try.3. Oishii Treats- A mix of chocolate, vanilla and mocha flavored treats with chocolate dip.4. Espresso- With our favorite (bunny/panda/cat) marshmallow.Definitely going back for their Parfaits which are served in different flavors.

We ordered Mango parfait and brownies parfait we loved the mango it is so yummy while the brownie one was good but you should be the one who is looking for the sweetest choice. We tried the original cheesecake but it was just normal and the vanilla short cake was the same they are both good but not the thing that will make come back. The creamy hot chocolate was good also the best thing of it was the presentation and the biscuit comes with it.The place is so cozy and the staff are so welcoming and nice they are helpful. They offer water for free and I loved this point. Also the place is a new experience as they have customised Japanese masks you can try and take pictures and they have an activity book that you can try to make shapes with papers and this is a nice thing to try.Prices are good and I saw a sign that they are on Entertainer.

If you know me or have been following me for a while, you will be aware of my love for Japan! Not over my trip to Tokyo, I always reiterate that there’s just something about the country that has me wanting to visit it over and over again. Luckily, Dubai has a few Tokyo reminiscent gems that whet our appetite until it’s time to go back to the real thing. One such gem is SIMPLY OISHII! We tried a variety of drinks and desserts at our recent tasting and everything from the food to the decor was spot on! Some of my absolute favorites from everything I had was the Japanese Chocolate Cheesecake (a refreshingly unique take on the normal Japanese cheesecake), the Brownie Parfait and the Vanilla Strawberry Shortcake. Each dessert had a unique flavor, appearance and texture to it and I just couldn’t get enough of the treats on offer.Overall, Simply Oishii gets a BIG YAY from us!
