Due to unforseen circumstances, I needed to cancel my reservation at Skyline Lounge for the New Year’s Eve dinner 3 days before the event. When I came to the venue, the manager of the restaurant didn’t even have decency to come and talk to me, he sent his errands girl instead. After telling me about their 7 days cancellation policy – which I knew about anyway, and that was exactly the reason why I came to see them in person hoping to find a solution – she suggested to sell the reservation to one of my friends. Thanks for the idea, but after being treated like that I’m going to tell my friends to stay as far away as possible from Skyline Lounge, Zaytoun Restaurant, and Crowne Plaza. Client hospitality is something they haven’t heard of there.

Very poor customer service and arrogant waiter. We had to go to the bar to request for menu and the person to serve us. We had to wait for 15min for a person to come to us then he came back after 10 min with us calling his attention for the menu. He never came back which forced us to leave and tell him if he does not want to serve us just let us know. Sadly, we failed to get the name of the server and call the supervisor’s attention though we are not sure if this will be handled accordingly. Better to go to the neighboring Belgian cafe for a drink. We will never come back here.
I love the view, food and ofcourse the service of the staffs. Many thanks to Rey and Lorimer for accommodating me very well.
Visited this place on Thursday with couple of friends. It was a nightmare experience. They are so bad in hospitality. They serve you as if they are forced to do their jobs. Their entire staff is untrained professionals. Don’t visit this place just because you see the view and surrounding. Believe me this is the worst experience of mine in Dubai. My suggestion to Crowne Plaza – Kindly train your staff well and ask them to treat their customers equally and not based on nationality.
If you love bars with outdoor seating, then you shouldn’t miss this place. Located on level 5 of Crowne Plaza hotel in festival city, you can be almost certain of finding a seat here. The views are good. Some tables block the skyline and so does the construction far off. But that’s Dubai for you ☺ The staff is attentive and hospitable. We had the Mojito, Margarita, and the Virgin Pinacolada. All the drinks were amazing. Thank you to Mohammed for mixing these up for us. We had Fried Calamari and French Fries for bites. Fries were fresh but the Calamari had oil dripping from it.Definitely a great place for a refreshing drink with Dubai skyline views!
