Akss India Reimagined, as its name iterates has certainly redefined Indian cuisine with the fusion of dishes with a touch of molecular gastronomy while retaining the delicious flavours. This place houses two restaurants under one roof, so you can either opt for Indian or Italian(Indo-Italian actually) cuisine. It’s brightly lit with a pretty decent ambiance.The menu offers vast variety of fusion chaats, some great concoctions of drinks, unique starters/appetisers. And it’s all vegetarian and I am certainly in for a treat while my mind was boggled with the available options. After taking certain suggestions from our server we asked for Teen Tikka Paneer followed up palak patta chaat and Pav bhaji bombs. The paneer Tikka comprises of three different marinations of oh so soft and melt in the mouth paneer. The trio marination of yellow chilli, coriander pesto and sun dried tomatoes was bang on, pretty novel in taste and tasted good.The show stopper of the evening was the palak patta chaat which was made live in front of us with liquid nitrogen drama and it’s taste was sure enough to tantalise the tastebuds with a great explosion of sweet and sour flavours. Absolutely loved this one. Pav bhaji bombs was Pav encapsulating bhaji inside topped with onion and cheese. Unique combo of filling bhaji in the Pav itself but it tasted just fine, a bit of the masaledar spark in the Bhaji was missing. Just a suggestion to fill little more bhaji in the Pav or the Bhaji can be provided as a condiment alongside.We also had Aam Panna and Kokum n peach drink which was a great accompaniment to the meals. We were almost full with the starters and we just had Mushroom Raahra with chilli cheese naan. It’s one of the best mushroom dishes I have savoured in the long time. A beautiful, rich and delicious amalgamation of minced soya and luscious mushrooms that was perfectly complemented with the hot and fresh naans alongside. A must try dish for sure!!!For desserts, we had chocolate garden, a perfect dream for chocolate lovers as it has Oreo crumbles, chocolate mousse, brownie and fondant that was served alongside vanilla ice cream. A great chocolate treat and was a sheer bliss in each bite!!Delicious flavours, hearty portions, top notch service, what more could one want!! Most definitely recommended!!!!!
