Small but compact. This joint is quite famous back in Bombay. What you can expect here ? Well, the same taste and flavours which we used to get back in India. Bombay kulfi has a variety of kulfi sticks and shakes. The best one is chilli guava one. It’s taste like real guava. Kesar malai is also a good option. We have tried shake kulfi which consist of 4 different type of flavours. Satisfied with kulfi craving
If you bored with the gelatos and other fancy flavors of icecreams run down to The Bombay Kulfi House and try some new flavors of Kulfi and Natural Ice Creams. It is amazing and will take u back to nostalgia of flavors. You will find total desiness in the the decor and interiors. We ordered Pista Kulfi Slice, Sitafal Kulfi Slice, Mango Kulfi Stick.I loved it all so milky, creamy and fresh with no added colors or flavours. In every bite you feel that its the original form of sitafal mango or pista ur munching on to. Do try this if ur going to Karama. Reasonable price and great place to spend time with family and friends
WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOLThis is how the staffs greeted us to Bombay Kulfi. The ambiance of Bombay kulfi resembles a kindergarten- great hangout spots for kids and adults who are kids by heart. My friend and I had a traverse down the memory lane after hopping on to this ice cream hub.Located in the busy streets of Karama, Bombay kulfi is the only kulfi shop in Dubai that use all-natural ingredients (from Milk to Sweetener)in the ice cream. Apparently, we don’t need the staffs to explain the components. If you are a passionate foodie, just one lick is enough for you to understand that these ice creams are free from preservatives. We tried Guava with chilly (5/5), salted caramel stick (5/5), Gulab badam (5/5) and, chocolate raspberry (5/5).I literally freaked out when they put the chilly powder in the guava ice cream, I mean who will eat ice cream with chilly powder? But just one spoon and I became a fan of it. Can’t wait to go and try my favorite Guava from their menu. adameshandbook.com
Must Try: Chilli Mango Kulfi.Tucked away in the busy streets of Karama, we have a new kulfi shop which has opened its doors this year. The unique factor about Bombay Kulfi is that the desserts are prepared with fresh milk and most importantly, there are no preservatives or binding agents added. Upon arrival, you will notice how bright and colourful this place is. Its got fun desi messages on the walls and the seating is low, which caters to kids as well. When you look at the menu, there is a huge variety of flavours to choose from. They also have low sugar flavours which are ideal for someone who is health-conscious. You have the option of having the Kulfi on a stick, waffle style or as a milkshake. They have an array of natural ice creams. We were invited for a tasting and we got a chance to try their signature kulfis. We started off with the Chilli Mango Kulfi and we were blown away. The chilli flavour kicks in almost immediately and it compliments the mango sweetness well. The Kaju Draksh was surprisingly pleasant. It truly out the Kaju flavour and could be an ideal dessert for desi occasions. The Oreo Naturals was nice however the oreo flavour did not come through and tasted a bit more of vanilla than of Oreos. We also tried the Rangeela which has four flavours in one and it is served on a stick. The Rangeela consisted of orange, butterscotch, pistachio and black current. The black currant and butterscotch stood out the most as it truly brought out the authentic flavours. The kulfis by itself are not overly sweet. Being prepared naturally, it brings out the organic sweetness and creaminess in the Kulfis. Furthermore, the price range is fair for the portion size served. Overall a nice kulfi shop to visit.
