we ordered pav bhaji from here online and believe me it was perfect. I mean all the people who are health conscious can opt to order from Mumbai hafta. It wasnt so buttery and the pavs where no so buttery too. We loved it and we would recommend this place 100%. We may soon visit the place to explore more option.
Visited this place for lunch on a weekend. With outdoor and indoor seating available, the outdoor seating is perfect for this time of the year. Placed an order for the Dahi Puri, Masala Maggi, Mutton Seekh Kabab, and Keema Pav along with Masala Thumsup and Lemon Mint Juice. The food was served quickly. The Masala Maggi is the most recommended dish here and was the best of the lot. Also, loved the Kabab and the Keema Pav. Good food that takes you back to the streets of Mumbai, this place has great value for money and is a must-visit.
Visited this cafe after hearing quite a lot about this place!! The ambience is soo desi and very well attended staffs!! We ordered their keema pav, Maggi, kebab platter and dahi vada!! The keema Pav and dahi vada tasted so delicious!! The Maggi was just okayish! However the kebab platter was definitely not upto the mark!! We felt that kebab platter lacked the flavour completely!! We would be coming back to review them again soon!!
Found this place while crossing the street and decided to try it. We ordered tea, maska bun, Bombay sandwich, veg Maggi, Bakwas sprite, jeera soda. Maska bun was a let down as it was sprinkled sugar on bun. Sandwich wasn’t amazing but was bad. Veg Maggi was ok. Drinks were great. The staff kept reminding that Bakwas sprite would be spicy but it wasn’t too spicy and tasted great. Hence the 3 star. Ambiance is definitely amazing. Weather was great so we sat outside.
Amazing delicious food at this restaurant. They have several ranges to choose from and the service is super quick. Will definitely visit this restaurant again soon. After looking at rating and reading reviews ended up at this place. In the first glance the place looks very welcoming and casual. The food is totally opposite to its name – it’s not at all Mumbai food. The pav bhaji had black mustard seeds which are typically used in South Indian food, it was just mashed vegetables lacking any taste. The anda pav was fine which is no brainer- can’t go wrong. The keema rice was good. But don’t count on them for the authentic Mumbai speciality and taste. The name is deceptive and food has South Indian touch to it to the contrary. Place is good for tea and ambience.
There is nothing I didn’t like about Mumbai Hafta and what really sets them apart for me on top of the cuisine the lovely outdoor seating right under the shade. This makes the place a little hard to find but once seated its an amazing setup for some evening chit chat with Mumbai Street food. Chai(4/5) and papdi chaat(5/5) is the best combo for me. We also tried the chicken pistol(5/5), chicken Chakinaka(4/5), keema fried rice(5/5) and the sweet lassi(5/5). Service was good, ambience was extra amazing outdoor and indoor was good too. Definitely a lovely upcoming outlet in Karama.
