An apt place for enjoying punjabi food and delicacies. We started off with a single serving of mix grill. Contains assortment of kebabs. Accompanied with chutney, pickle and papad. For mains,we had sarso saag, punjabi murg, paneer tikka masala and the dal makhni. Along with it were makke ki roti, and nan. The punjabi murg was mince based and tasted good. The paneer masala was the best of all. We really enjoyed it. The sarso sag and maki roti is a classic combination. For drinks we had lassi served in earthen glasses. Ended the meal with kulfi fir dessert. The interiors of the place are well done. There ample seating space. The service could have been better. Thank you for having us over.
If you are are in Karama and looking for authentic Punjabi cuisine, then PIND DA DHABA will be the right place. When we first entered, we were welcomed with smiles and some good hindi songs playing in the background. The interior is done as a Punjabi dhaba style with some authentic Punjabi props. We ordered on the recommendation of our host :First started off with some complimentary roasted paapad with mint chutney and winter achhar – which was nice start up.For starters we were served – Fish ajwani tikka, which was soft and juicy and grill up-to the best.Mains were served soon; Amritsari kulcha stuffed with potato mix ,comes out so good and goes perfectly with the sweet lassi.Prawn in tomato goes well with the garlic butter naan, Gravy was mild spicy and made perfectly with home style.Ended the lunch with creamy kulfi.Overall had a good time with amazing food.
After a really disheartening experience at Saleem’s of Delhi, I must admit that when I walked into Pind Da Dhaba I was already skeptical considering that they both are under the same management. However the warm and courteous service by the staff combined with really tasty and top notch Punjabi Kukkad completely allowed me to shed away my prejudice about the place. The food was served promptly and it tasted delicious. The chicken was fresh and the tandoori roti was hot and palatable. My husband is a great fan the Mutton Biryani served here but I was not very impressed with it.
Fine dine cuisine with great food and great ambience . I fell in love with the lassi at the first site and the taste had a healthy touch to it . The platter was good enough for two people and tasted pretty fine . What I loved mostly was the mutton curry . They do have veg options too which are worth trying . I just thought the quantity of the food could have been better But the overall experience was pretty good .
If you are looking for some authentic Punjabi food with an ambiance that takes you back to the streets of Punjab, then this is the place to be! You are transported to this beautiful era of rustic stairs, colored bangles placed at the corner, a hand pump. Wooden stools, pretty-looking kettles, colorful golas, and big wheels will give you a very charming ambiance. This Dhaba style concept is enhanced not only by its beautiful interior but such amazing food that you will be left wanting for more!No Punjabi food is complete without Desi Lassi hence we went ahead with Big Lassi glasses which was quite thick and creamy in texture. Oh! It tastes so gooood that you just can’t stop at one sip. Then for starters, we went ahead with the veg as well as non veg platter which serves us the best of both worlds. In non-veg starter, the flavourful chicken tandoori and melt in your mouth mutton kebabs were the best. In the vegetarian platter, we loved all kinds of paneer served, it was literally bursting with flavors. Special mention goes to mushroom which was another hit! Now coming to the main course, we went ahead with Dhaba style Daal, mutton ghost and paneer ki subji with butter naan. Every dish had the perfect blend of spices but there are two things which this restaurant aces at, if you are a vegetarian, then do try their paneer dishes and if you are a nonveg, then their mutton dishes are the best! For desserts, we had hot and yummy gulab jamuns and gajjar ka halwa which had generous amount of ghee making this dish the “talk of the town” I literally cant get over these desserts which got over within seconds.Overall, I absolutely enjoyed my dining experience and I am definitely visiting this a place when ever I crave some paneer, lassi or gulab jamuns.
This place has a punjabi village theme goin on which is very cute and inviting and gives a feel of food to be more authentic from dhaba style india. We started with a the lassi and jt was a delight. not too sweet, perfect thickness and rich taste. for starters we got veg and non veg platters. both were perfect portions with great varieties. from non veg platter my favorite was malai tikka and from veg it has to be paneer hariyali. For mains we got the dhaba style dhaal with sarso ka sag and makai roti. makai roti was soft and fresh.it was served with butter and jaggery which gave a very nostalgic taste abd feel to the whole experience. we were too full to try the dessert but will visit again for some banarasi kulfi.totally recommend this place.
Beautiful restaurant, helpful staff and delicious food. We went to this restaurant for lunch and it was delicious. We started with refreshing mango lassi and shikanji. In starters we ordered dahi ke kebab, corn kebabs and paneer tikka. Kebabs were crispy from outside and soft from inside, perfect blend of spices, loved it.In mains we had matar malai, paneer takatak, daal, biryani and rotis. Paneer was soft and flavorful, daal was creamy and matar malai was amazing. This place is a dessert heaven. We tried so many desserts here and totally loved everything especially their kulfis. If we you want to have good north Indian food then this place is perfect for you.
