SADAK CHAAP: A vegetarian restaurant with a concept of preparing almost every dishes with chaap or soya bean. The category and dish names on the menu were very interesting and unique. Vegetarians will definitely have a wonderful dining experience. ~ Drinks:• Bhangra-Less Thandai: Drink of the day. Perfect blend of dry fruits, milk and saffron with lip snacking taste.• Salt mix lassi: It was thick and very tasty.~ Chaats :• Bahubali Samosa: As the name says, it’s a big size samosa which measures almost 3 times the regular samosa. It was very crunchy and crispy outside with mouth watering stuffing inside. • Kattappa kachori : It’s was a chatpati kachori with flavorful stuffing inside.~ Shubharambh (starters) :• Sanyukt Rajya: Chaaps of different flavors served on a platter with green chutney. We had amritsari chaap, haryanvi chaap, lahori chaap, rajasthani chaap, gujarati chap and Italian chaap on the platter with distinctive flavors.~ Madhyam Bhoj ( Light meals):• Maggi Chaap : Maggi cooked in soya chaap with loads of veggies. This Indian street food reminded me of my college days. It was delicious and had an amazing aroma.• Lollipop Chaap: It was too delicious with well balanced mixture of spices and had an amazing taste. A must try dish which will definitely satisfy you taste buds.~ Mukhya Bhoj (Main course) :• Hyderabadi Chaap : Chaap cooked in rich, spicy red color gravy with full of Indian spices. I just fell in love with it’s nice aroma of blends and spices..• Kashmiri Chaap : Chaap cooked in thick gravy made of cashew with cream and hint of saffron.• Laccha Paratha : Most popular in North India and is a healthy flatbread made from wheat flour in multi layers with melt in the mouth texture. It was a very good combination with Hyderabadi as well as Kashmiri chaaps. • Biriyani Chaap: Rice cooked in biriyani style filled with soft and tender chaaps cooked in mild spicy masala and served with onion raita. It had a great taste.~ Desserts :• Moong Dal Halwa : It’s something that wins over any other desserts because of its mouth watering taste. The one we had here was tasty with garnish of nuts, but was not up to our expectations as it was bit dry in texture.~ Aam Aadmi ki drink ( Beverages):• Garam Chay ke pyali: Sadak’s signature tea made with jaggery and freshly crushed spices. It was a great treat for winter.Ambience is cozy with bollywood themed interior with quite comfortable seating arrangement. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and the service was fantastic. A must visit place, highly recommended.

Chaap is known as soya bean in Hindi. It’s pretty interesting that the restaurant came up with a new concept of making everything out of soya bean. I enjoyed the mixed platter with variety of flavours and also the mumbaiya burger. It doesn’t feel like you are eating soya bean at all. Vegeterians are definitely going to love this concept. Their sweet and salt mix lassi is really tasty. This place is located in karama on 4B street and easier to find out.

  • The Hungriest Man

Instagram: @thehungriestmanI was invited by Sadak Chaap to try out different items from their menu. Sadak Chaap is a vegetarian restaurant located in Karama. Chaap means soya, so they have a lot of traditional Indian dishes that has soya as its main ingredient. This is what we got – Punjabi Lassi, Chaap Platter, Vada Pav, American Burger, Maggi Chaap, Lachha Paratha, Chile Bhature, and Chai.Their American Burger, Vada Pav, and Chai were my favorite dishes. They are basically veg burgers with a potato/soya cutlet inside, and served with chutney sauce on the side. They were served fresh and the bun was toasted. The prices of most dishes were very good, and the quantity is also good. If you want to try something new, try out their Chaap platter.Taste: 7/10Price: 9/10Service: 8/10Ambience: 8/10Overall Rating: 8/10For more great pictures, checkout @thehungriestman on Instagram 😉

Soya is undoubtedly a versatile ingredient, which can be enjoyed in stir-fries as well as gravy preparations. Soya Chaap has been one of the best culinary surprises ever. The juicy and succulent chaap made of soya bean mimics the texture of meat brilliantly, making it a delicious treat not just for vegetarians but meat lovers too. Found this place in Karama this place is big enough to cater a big crowd. For the food we had : Papa Di Chaat : Its a desi style papdi chaat . Sweet Lassi We had the Sanyukt Rajya : its a mixed platter of grilled Amritsari, lahori, Haryanvi, Lucknowi, Rajastani & Gujrati Chaaps also cheese chaaps. Punjabi Chaap Gravy with Lacha Paratha : Chaap cooked in gravy punjabi style. Moong Dal Halwa : It was nice They have tea and snacks as well as chaats.

Follow me on Instagram. nayab.sarhandiA totally new concept serving everything made of Chaap (Soya Bean) perfect for vegetarians. Located in #Karama this place is a whole veg concept. Now they recently relocated in a bigger and better place with huge seating area. Simply love the tea here the best one. As for me soya bean (chaap) taste was very new as i never tried it before but still loved the biryani this place is serving. Tried the papri chaat and samosa chaat both were too good. Ordered the Chaap Platter consists of different style of soya beans as it was not that pleasing to my taste buds. Loved the sweet lassi and maggi chaap. Taste was really different. Overall a good experience as i felt service was bit slow and needs to be improved. A perfect vegan place with good taste. …..#dubaieats #dubaifood #dubaifoodblog #zomato #foodporn #foodstagram #vegen #vegetarian #Tasty #dubai loggers #dubaifoodbloggers #instaeata #eatoutdxb #indianfood nayabsarhandi.wordpress.com
