This is the second time I’ve been here. This time we tried Banana fry + beef combo and it is not upto the expectation. Banana fry is very cold and the service is average only.

If your looking for great service then this is the place for you! The rice dish was full of flavor, the meat was so tender that it was literally falling off the bone.Kappa could have been more flavorful and they need to change the fish(milk fish) as it was so hard and dry,the gravy and fish did not match at all – I do not recommend this dish.Service is very quick!

We ordered oru kudam chor and kappa biriyani ,which were their best sellers. Both tasted really good. Oru kudam chor is a mix of rice, fish curry, beef fry and chicken. Kappa biriyani was very spicy and flavourful. They do have outdoor seating arrangements and is a must try restaurant for having Malabar cuisines.

Initially the experience was good. The staff who took our order was cordial and helpful to select dishes. Drinks (non alcoholic) came quickly and tasted good. Heartburns started after that. Food took long to arrive. Chicken starter was okay. Didn’t taste great. Squid was tasty. Main course took long, but tasted very good, both chicken and prawns. Appams were cold and stuck to each other. Must have been prepared earlier. That was saddening. We expected lot more from Appams. Desserts were too good, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Outdoor seating, in the awesome weather was a good experience. The place was clean and well kept.

The food is great here. Tried a lot of stuff from the menu. Their kerala beef and parotta is amazing. I tried the jamaican banana with icecream and saffron milk cake. aboutfood.ae

Have been here a couple of times and the experience everytime has been good. The food here is a bit spicy but the quality and taste is good. I have tried appams, parothas, vegetable stew, chicken curry and fish in banana leaf. The fish was superb and I loved it. The vegetable stew with appam was also good. The parothas are nice and flaky and they have both maida and wheat versions so one can enjoy as per their liking. Both types are well made. The imly drink was interesting and tangy and a good try. I would come here again..
