Being a malayali I’d love to try my native food for sure :). Craving for some kerala food ?? Head down to kovalam restaurant in President hotel Located at the most convenient location in Dubai, Kovalam is just 2 minutes walk from the ADCB Metro Station. So it is easy to find the President Hotel as it is in the Sheikh Zayed Road itself. To start with, I got the Watermelon Drink, which is the best looking drink from the menu. We got a huge array of platter, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. For veg starters, we had Mushroom Cheese Balls and for non-vegetarian starters, we had Threaded Chicken with Schezwan Sauce and Mango Pudhina Chicken Tikka. my favorite was the Threaded Chicken, which is chicken strips wrapped in pasta strings and deeply fried and served on top of schezwan sauce in a shot glass. Such a beautiful presentation and a wonderful dish.And then to the mains .. we went for meal combos where there had lot many varieties in meals cost from 20 to 35 AED they have fish combo Mutton combo and Chinese combos as well . I went for the fish combo meals which was decent enough to have . Even though the restaurant has the Kerala name, they also have Goan dishes and Chinese dishes.Overall loved the lunch experience at kovalam Thankyou for having me over Kovalam Restaurant Thankyou for the invite Socialism AK
Their chinese lunch combo was really tasty. Loved the food presentation of each and every appetizer on their list. The appetizers were super delicious as well! Their pina colada was really tasty! The staff and service provided was really good. Definitely a good visit for a stomach full meal. The quantity served is really good for the price.

The threaded chicken, mango pudina chicken tikka, double dhingiri, bbq on table and many more.Their different combo meals like chicken combo, mutton combo, fish combo, chinese combo all are pricing between 20dhs to 35dhs. And for those who like to go for drinks you can add 12dhs extra and avail that also. The meals are worth the price and porrion size is also pretty good.The virgin pinacloda I tried was really refreshing. They have variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.The desserts were light and good the banana split, icecream with crispy honey noodles and fruitsalad with custard all were yumm..Loved the ambience and the service. A must try for starters and combo meals at reasonable price.

Tried their starters Natholi Fry (nice), chicken lollipops ( spicy yum) chutta Kozhi ( must try ) prawn pepper ( yummy, above expected) beef ularthiyathu ( nice )Shezwan and mixed fried rice, chicken manjurian & Appam tasted average On latest visit my rating is 3.25 from 4
