I’ve always seen various posts about Boodle Fight on social media. Having heard and seen all this hype, my missus and myself decided to give this a try. We both are food lovers and seafood is at its peak in the list of food we love. I did a bit of research online before visiting La Mesa and it was worth the effort as our visit to this lovely restaurant was outstanding. The place was packed when we got there, and believe me it wasn’t a weekend. This gave us a good feeling and a sign that we are at the right place to try our first ever Boodle Fight. The first server we bumped into took us upstairs and showed us our table as downstairs didn’t have any free tables. Upstairs wasn’t empty either, the table we got was the only table available. After going through the menu, we ordered the seafood Boodle Fight for 3 pax. We asked our server for guidance and chose the Cajun flavor as we love spicy food. Even though the restaurant was overly busy our table was setup quickly and the food was served in not more than 10mins. The food was delicious and we ate every bit of it. It had crabs, mussels, prawns, corn and squids and the cajun sauce was so good that it was tasting good with just plain rice. The meal came with unlimited rice and iced teas, we however didn’t ask for extra rice as the portion was big enough but we did smash it up on a few extra iced teas. Well done La Mesa. Love from 3 Indians who enjoyed their first ever Boodle Fight.
I’ve been here a few times and those times i honestly loved the food! The ambience and the interior is quite relaxing. I loved the offers that they have, specially i’m on a budget basis. The kare-kare is one of the dishes that makes me want to come back. My wife used to bring home the left over she had knowing that i really liked it! – If the service could be more enthusiastic would be perfect! I work in the same field and i know the feeling of rush hour. Over all? I’d still give it a go.

FOOD – Authentic Filipino restaurant in Dubai! The boodle fight for two is amazing.SERVICE – Average. Nothing special.PLACE – Convenient atmosphere and spacious. Near Satwa Bus Station.PRICE – Very reasonable and affordable, it cost around 120 AED for 2 persons.
My husband and I ordered boodle fight package and the meal for 2 was humongous! We did enjoyed the food however, the fish was a little more burned than usual. All in all experience was great and I will still definitely recommend this place.
Hello La Mesa team! My friends and I were really looking forward to eat authentic Filipino Food last night. We were so excited since we just came from an Abu Dhabi trip and we chose la mesa grill to satisfy our bulalo cravings. Sad to say, the food was very bland. We did not expect it to be that bad. Every dish we ordered was disappointing. I do not want to make it long, but I feel as a Filipino cuisine advocate, that your team should know this feedback. I am hoping that you can improve the products (as well as the service) because we would really like to come back. There aren’t many places in Dubai for good Filipino food, so I’m really wishing to eat that very satisfying bulalo again.
Food is average. Customer service is okay. We ordered the boodle fight and the tilapia was burnt. But aside from that it’s all good. Iskrambol is a winner! Place is recommendable. Will definitely come back.
