Had been to Purani dilli in weekend for anniversary celebration lunch with high expectations.But it turned out to be a dampener Though we were seated promptly the service was not quite upto the mark as expected from a fine dining restaurantThe starter lamb kebab was a saving grace .For the main course we ordered mutton keema without peas and and aloo kulcha Though we wanted to order another roti and dessert and there was no staff who came around.The bill settlement also took a while .What perplexed me was that there were hardly 4-5 occupied tables!
We had the Diwali lunch party here, food was good although the variety was bit limited compared to other buffets, location is close to resident are in bur dubai.Hotel offers free valet and also parking is easily available outside the hotel, had the lunch with wine, alocohol is available at separate cost if you want to have that too.Overall a good ambience for having buffet with family.
Visited this place with family. The place was very comfortable and the ambiance was great. They have live singing which starts around 8pm. We had Galouti Kebab, Delhi Aloo Tikki. For main course we had Lahori Paneer and Bread. For Sweet we tried the Phirni. The service was great and fast. Couldnt click pictures of the food because was very busy in eating it 😉 Thankyou Ibrahim for your great service. Look forward to visit again in future and click food pictures. Overall – 5 Stars
Fabulous restaurant with authentic Indian taste. Food is really awesome Beautiful ambience with melodious live music is a plus point. Prasad was a good companion to take care of our orders. He made us feel special on our wedding anniversary. Thanks to him. Will revisit again for sure.
The menu indeed took me to the lanes of Purani Dilli. The ambience starting with the cycle rikshaw added to the effect ;-)Zakir was very helpful and always with a smile.The young chef from Uttarakhand also did a great job with the Tangy Masoor ki DalShorba. Gave him some feedback on the Shorba which he took graciously.The food was very filling and quantity so much that we had almost half of it packed to go!Must visit again. Definitely recommend.Fine dining. Hence not so light on the pocket.A big negative was WATER. A small bottle costing 28times the actual price!!! 🙁
Purani Dilli, a very tastefully decorated restaurant in Four Points Sheraton, Mankhool. Loved the lovely decor, welcoming smiles by staff and authentic North Indian menu. For Mocktails we had Mirch Mumtaz, Pineapple Mint punch and Adraki bahaar. All were super delicious and refreshing. For starters we ordered Veg kebab platter, with 4 types of veg kebabs. Everything was melt-in-the-mouth and scrumptious. For mains we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, assorted breads and Tarkari Biryani. For desserts we tried Dessert Sampler, which consists of Shahi Tukda, Gulab jamun and Phirni. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!!Will definitely visit this place again.
