Vego Cafe is the new place everyone needs to be at because of their, oh so delicious food and the lovely ambience. It’s a pure heaven for the Vegetarians and also the Non Vegetarians. They serve some seriously delicious Cakes, Breads and many more items those are Gluten free, Vegan/Vegetarian at a pretty reasonable rates.Let’s get talking about the food shall we?I started with something to drink and opted for the Passionfruit Iced Tea, at first i thought it would be the normal iced tea we get in cans, but i was absolutely wrong. It was a soda-less mojito if that makes sense, very refreshing and I see myself ordering it again on my second visit! Must try.Ferraro Rocher Milkshake – The shake was a little too watery for my liking, I usually enjoy thick shakes so I may give a pass to this one. The menu is small but has some great dishes to choose from and you would want to try everything after you read the fusion names!Magic Maggi – I always told myself that I wouldn’t order maggi at a restaurant because thats the most yummy, easiest and cheapest thing to make at home, but reading the description of the dish I couldn’t really stop myself from ordering the dish. If you enjoy a hell lottaa cheesseee then this is the dish just for YOU!! AMAZING MAGGI!! The flavours is just a burst, I loved loved the maggi so much and you should should order it when you’re next here! A Must Have!!Dosa Waffle – A fusion dish which has both, the authentic dosa flavor and the waffle taste. The aloo masala was cooked right and wasn’t too over powering on the masala’s. Goes well with both the chutney’s. A Must Try!Cheese Chilli Garlic Manakeesh – The first thing that comes to your head is would be as authentic as you get it at a Lebanese restaurant? And the answer is absolutely yes! The nailed it, very authentic tasting and the garlic went really well with the chilli cheese combination. A must have!Crispy Paneer Slider – Tempura kinda batter fried seasoned Paneer topped with jalapenos, mayo and sriracha sauce in a curry bun. The paneer was very soft and flavored really well and the whole dish was complemented well with the sauce. loved it! A must have!Crispy Potato – The potato patty was seasoned really well and was topped with cheese and sauce, the sauce was a little too spicy for my palate but tasted great.Bombay Grilled Sandwich – I have missed having the proper mumbaiya style grill sandwich here in Dubai and I’m really happy to say that Vego has totally aced the flavours, it tasted just like the one you get in mumbai. A MUST HAVE. Desserts – Yes we had space for desserts to, you can never tell a no for anything sweet especially when you have tons of options! They don’t have a lot of options in the menu written but you can choose out of their freshly baked cakes and pastries too! I opted for two desserts.Tripple Chocolate Bun – This was pure chocolate heaven!! If you’re a chocolate lover then this dessert is for you because it has everything chocolate and yet not too crazy chocolaty, crazy right? So, the bun is made of chocolate, spread with chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate ice cream and finally topped with some mars chocolate. This was just so freaking good. A Must Have.Rose Milk Cake – I was very happy because both the desserts were just heavenly and this cake was gone in seconds, the rose flavor wasn’t too strong, the cake was super moist (not soggy) and soft. A Must Have.Overall – I would say this place has to be my new favorite spot to chill with friends and family, they have good food and great ambience. When you wait for your food to arrive they have games to play to kill time. The service is a little slow but the server/staff is really friendly and very knowledgeable about their work. For parking there are two zone, A and C so you can choose as per the availability and choice.
