We ordered Shawarma plate and kibbe bil laban. Tje kibbe was pure burgol and no meat. The filling of the kibbe was something too dry and had no taste. We had to wait around half an hour for our meal. We ordered seven up which never came and kinafa which we cancelled after 20 min delay. So the food is not worth the money.
Bad Delivery Experience. Wrong Delivery of Menu – Not checking all the request from the comments section. We have the date from the Zomato account with our number, atleast if you dont understand or not sure of the order, you should have called the customer to verify.
I enjoyed this sinigang na hipon but it took a lot of time waiting for our orders to be delivered. They are lacking in manpower. The managers’ also has no focus on the guests’. We requested a small favor but was not granted, totally forgotten (soup bowl) until the end of our meal. Its a common sense to put soup bowl in the table if you order this shrimp. And lastly, when we asked for the bill and gave the payment (to the manager, the one who was wearing white long sleeve) he ran hurriedly and just leave the bill folder in the table beside us, went directly to the computer (I guess to order other guests’ order) It was ok to make the order first but why he had to leave our payment in the other table? And he totally forgotten it, we just took the bill folder ourselves and gave it directly to the cashier. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN.
The restaurant manager Mr. Nicolas Copa is very rude and lacking of professional skill. A very bad experience. May god bless him. Please consider replacing him.
PINOY WARD: A FAMILY RENDEZVOUS AWAY FROM HOMELIFE gives people strange experiences — sometimes hard and difficult; sometimes with happiness and surprises.Familiar with these experiences are Filipino overseas workers, like those in Dubai, UAE. They sometimes end up making wrong judgments that ends in frustration. And, sometimes, endeavor with success after success after success. In both instances, Filipinos — courageous as they are — always give themselves a break and that second chance to correct a mistake is always an option, even as they also know how to return the favor for little help and kindness and generosity. Filipinos Learn to appreciate what you have given them — that’s for sure. And, they are food lovers. They understand that experiences brought about by difficulties make them unite, embrace each other, and earn the comfort provided by their loved ones, even as they rendezvous for sympathy. This is the very reason why one restaurant is a stand-out among restaurants that provide Filipino food in Dubai. Like Filipinos, it values experiences and the difficulties Filipinos face in Dubai and the rest of the emirates.Along Al Rigga main road in Deira, stands Pinoy Ward, owned and managed by the amiable Mr. Rabih Arabi. Pinoy Ward provides Filipinos in Dubai quality food and comfort while being away from their homes in the Philippines.Although known for its fusion of providing a combination of Filipino and Arabic food, Pinoy Ward excels in Filipino food because Filipino chefs are on hand when it comes to attending to orders for authentic Filipino food.Along Al Rigga main road is an avenue for fine dining for Filipino dishes known all the way from Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao.Bulalo, Beef Kare-Kare, Beef and Chicken Sisig, Chicken Binakol, Daing Na Bangus, Chicken Inasal, Bicol Express, Pinakbet, Pansit Bihon and even Pan De Shawarma fusion – Pinoy Ward, which is named after Filipinos and the owner’s son Wardy, provides the hardworking Filipinos in Dubai with Filipino cuisines that they have left in the country just so they can provide better lives for their families.Take for instance Bulalo, a specialty of Pinoy Ward. You can never say there’s a difference between what Filipinos have in the Philippines and what Pinoy Ward serves – beef chunks and bone marrow simmered to perfection with corn on the top, string beans and Pakchoy or Chinese petchay – savor them all like the one you ordered in your favorite hometown restaurant or what your family cooked at home. One of Filipinos’ favorites – Beef Kare-Kare – is a best seller, too. What with the original recipe of having oxtail with Pakchoy, string beans and eggplant — you’ll easily feel at home.Pinoy Ward turned a year old on April 14, 2019, and as a courtesy for its customers, Goto and Aroz Caldo can be easily ordered for AED10 instead of AED15.Inasal is also an easy favorite, coming with a promo price of AED20 instead of AED27, it’s served with unli-rice and ice tea, along with soup, upon request. This Ramadan, Pinoy Ward serves food from 12NN to 3:30am; for other months from 7am until 1:30am weekdays, and until 2:30am on weekends. The most important experience to nurture, especially here in Dubai, is learning to value hard work behind all the given comfort, and Pinoy Ward is always there to serve the diligent Filipinos in UAE – in difficult and trying times or in laughter and joy. Here’s how the match goes between Filipinos and Pinoy Ward the more: Value appreciation, realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done, and appreciate the importance of family relationship. At Pinoy Ward, every Filipino deserves true comfort for quality yet affordable food, heartfelt service and perfect ambiance; also known for being the home of Filipino food and Pinoy celebrities.Pinoy Ward – a family rendezvous away from home.
