Worst customer service and too costly and dishes not up to Mark.
Please do not go to this restaurant at any cost. The quality of the food and the service is not what it is supposed to be. As you see it is not fine-dine and not even worth the 2 dirhams you pay for the tea. I am a regular customer and now I stopped going there.
Over my 4 year period of stay in the locality, I have experienced the rise and downslide of this cafeteria. UAE has its fair share of ‘mallu cafeteria’ which is quite popular for its quick food like sandwiches, shawarma and juices and also dishes ranging from the Indian cuisine to Chinese. Reef Deira Cafeteria & Restaurant is no different. This was one of my first food spot, when I had moved into the area. From buying shawarmas and porotta for dinner to getting biriyani for weekend lunches, we were a regular customer. The USP (atleast in my eyes) was lesser competition of similar model of food. As more mallu cafeterias popped up in the locality, the downslide begins. Starting from compromised taste to late deliveries and clumsily packaged take-out orders. Guess while they focused on beating the competition, quality of food & service was no longer a criteria. After multiple re-chances (yes, I was ready to give them a second chance a bit too many times) this is one place I am never going back to.
We ordered chicken Manchurian from this restaurant it was so bad that we couldn’t able to eat it. They have used artificial colors a lot. No boneless chicken. The staff is not professional and no manner to talk to the customer. I will never recommended this restaurant because of the behavior.
I had tried the shawarma in the night the shawarma isn’t half bad but it’s not as juicy as other shawarmas out there but do try the spicy shawarma it’s a little better than the normal
Amazing puttu biriyani. Unique in its own way. Loved it. Something that reminds you of home. Something to try when you are homesick and miss ur mom
