Excellent food . Known for Ghee rice & Palli ( Coconut grated ) curry . If you are looking for Ganji ( traditional mangalorean ) rice, you find this here . Reasonable price . Recommend for bachelors .Con : No enough sitting arrangement for families
Hands down the best chai this side of town. They don’t give you flask tea with pre configured chai, custom brew it to your taste. Stronger, milkier, sweeter or less they got it. The snacks are alright but their standout would be the beef pallicurry which is a red curry beef thick gravy popular in Northern kerala. Super friendly staff and basic space to sit and grab a quick note.
I really loved the evening Fresh Milk Samaver Team in the Glass with freshly prepared hot snacks. Perfect for evening Chai Time. True , a bit crowded but fel all are enjoying the time standing around and carrying with chit chats. I also had Gheerice and Pallikari (Special Spicy Beef preparation) from there which is sizzling hot, Sometime it nice to take Pallikari with Kerala Paratta. Couple of time had Poori Bhai and Masala Dosa for BF, but those were averages. Happened to speak to manager of restaurant and told the amazing fact that they bring all their masalas (Spices) prepared from their own Spice Mill in Kerala.
A good place for fresh milk tea in al nahda area. Went here one evening last week. There was hood rush, indicating the popularity of the shop. I too ordered one tea and two snacks. Both were good. One problem i felt they can not manage the rush at peak times. Place is small and staff is less. Rest all was fine. Recommended.
