Masala Wok is about exploring the wonders of both Asian and Indian cuisines. Located in Al Nahda 1, they have ample parking space in front of the restaurant. Whether you’re craving mild or spicy, sweet or savory, light or heavy, vegetarian or loaded with meat, their menu has it all. Packed with spices and fiery flavours, it just doesn’t get better than Desi Chinese. They have a menu of flavor to satisfy all tastes. Masala Wok has an array of offerings that will tempt your palate and open your mind. Huge Sized portions worth the price. Lets Talk about Food: Started with Monchow Soup Chicken – This hot and spicy soup was laced with quirky flavours.. Chef’s Special Kebab Chicken – Beautifully cooked presented in the Hanging Kebab Stand.its a platora of flavors in each skewer. Its not only gorgeous in looks, but also the taste just echoes in your mouth. Chicken Salami Kebab Chicken in Gati Masala Chicken Phuljadi Kebab Chicken Pahadi Kebab Masala Wok Special Kebab ; This unique Kebab is chicken breast piece flattened and filled with Chicken Mince inside. This kebab is something unique and is an absolute delight. Chilli Fish – This is one of my chinse favourites.Delicious , sweet sour salty and spicy. Tandoori Prawns – Spicy, Smoky, cruncy outside and juicy inside. Schezwan Noodles – Noodles is the perfect food for soul and this tastes absolute perfect with the right spice of the schezwan ruling it all. Burnt Garlic Fried Rice – As of lately I am so loving the flavours and taste of thr burnt garlic fried rice and this version at Masala Wok was very good. Mutton Rogan Josh Gravy – This Rogan Josh was luscious and the mutton was so tender and soft and went well with the Kulcha Masala Bread and Garlic Naan. The Spicy gravy was luscious. Drinks Shikanji – its Lemonade with a traditional touch of North India with boondis and masala. Watermelon Mojito – Then the usual Mojitos this is very refreshing. Desserts Gajar Ka Halwa – The Halwa was not just the visual treat, but tasted beyond description. Sizzling Brownie With ICe Cream – The Pleasure of biting into this gooey brownie, a perfect blend of sweet, bitter is unparralled. The place is huge and various seating arrangements. Staff Are very humbled and courteous especially Mr. Peter made sure everything was well take care of. MR. Shareef the owner of the place is around and making sure all the customers are relishing the food and ambience. The Dishes are hearty & huge portions with flabours devoured one after the other. All the dishes are specially curated with many options from North India to indo Chinese options. Masala Wok, has casual atmosphere and friendly service that makes the perfect place for friends and family to gather for a quick lunch or a full-blown dinner, consisting of either Indian food or Asian food. Masala Wok: Indo-Chinese restaurant located in Al Nahda, Dubai which serves Indian and Chinese dishes. They have more than 250 plus dishes on the menu to make your dining experience an unforgettable. Started of with colorful fryums and welcome drinks, Our order included-Drinks:• Aam panna: Tasty and healthy drink made from raw mangoes. The mint added was enhancing the color of the juice.• Water melon mojitoit: It’s was fresh, flavorful and refreshing.Soups: • Lemon coriander soup : Fresh coriander leaves and the splash of lemon makes all the difference to this yummilicious soup and must have.• Talumein soup (chicken): Delicious with chicken , noodles and fresh veggies.Appetizers:• Masala Wok Special Kebab : This was their signature dish. The Kebab stuffed with mince, cheese and spices. It had a lips smacking taste with perfect flavor and was beautifully presented on a antique copper vessel.. It’s a must try dish with unique taste.• Chef’s Special kabab: Tasted excellent with four different flavours. The chicken was very nicely marinated and was succulent.• Prawns Koliwada: It was crunchy from outside and was soft inside. Vanished in no time.• Dynamite prawns: Very well marinated prawns cooked to perfection. It was my favorite of the day and a must try.• Fish Manchurian : It had thick gravy with nicely cooked fish cubes with right combination of sauce and had an amazing taste.Main course:• Burnt garlic fried rice( prawns) : Tried this dish for the first time. It had an intense garlicky aroma and was so nicely prepared that each grain of the rice was flavorful.• Mutton Manchurian: Fresh mutton cubes cooked in very well balanced gravy. The consistency of the gravy was thick and had lip smacking taste. It was going well with burnt garlic fried rice.• Bhuna gosht: The mutton cooked in its own juice until it gets a beautiful dark brown color. The meat was fresh and we could feel this through it’s deep flavour.• Desi kukkad: Fresh and relatively very small size chicken cooked in thick gravy in desi style.• Breads: Keema naan, Masala kulcha and Garlic naan. All served piping hot and tasted excellent with bhuna gosht and desi kukkad.• Schezwan Noodles : Kids’ favourite Noodles and was ordered on their demand. The taste was outstanding with right amount of chicken, prawns, veggies and was upto our expectations.Desserts:• Sizzling brownie: One of my all time favorite. Served on a hot sizzler plate, the brownie was very soft, topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The ambience is cozy with beautifully decorated interiors and very well arranged neat and clean dining area. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great service nd hospitality. All the drinks and food served were fresh and had distinctive tastes. Best part is all the details including theme for interior décor, wall hangings, dining seat arrangements, the serving utensils is carefully chosen by the owner himself. Highly recommended and a must visit place. I’ll definitely visit for trying their other dishes.
We tried this restaurant few times. We tried Chinese cuisine. Taste was very good, enjoyed the food, one of the best veg manchurian. Would love to try other items soon.
Masala Wok, located in Al Nahda, has been around for almost 3 years and has been doing really good. The owner looks into the minutest details when it comes to the food quality, quantity, taste, ambience, decor, service etc. Here are the details of my food tasting session at Masala Wok:Complimentary kokum drink and fryums. The kokum drink was refreshing and tasted good. Fryums was the usual crunchy and tasty!Paya soup- simple, yet delightful!Tandoori prawns- it was the best starter. Juicy, well marinated prawns. Tasted divine!Chef’s special chicken kebabs- 4 different varieties of kebabs. Each one tasted different and once again, well marinated these were!Chilli chicken- This was average Veg wontons- They were good, thin and crispy on the outside with some tasty filling of vegetablesTriple Schezwan chicken fried rice- This was decent. Schezwan chicken noodles- Again, this was decent, not bad though. We chose similar ones for rice and noodles by mistake, both schezwan. Dabba gosht- The best dish! Soft, tender mutton pieces so well cooked in a perfect gravy, garnished with sliced eggs. Loved this dish the most.Desi kukkad- This was again an amazing dish, chicken cooked well in a beautiful gravy. Good to look at, good to taste!Chili garlic naan and butter roti- Both were good, the former is highly recommended!Aam pana- So refreshing and tasty! Recommended drink.Pomegranate juice- We had requested for the juice without sugar and ice. The juice was fresh and tasted goodSizzling brownie- One among their bestsellers. We were too full to have this, but the person serving us made sure we tried this. I m so glad we listened to him, because it was divine! Tasted amazing. The brownie in itself tasted so good. Gulab jamun- The staff was again kind enough to serve a single gulab jamun as our little one was asking for it. Basic, simple gulab jamun which was good.Overall, we had a great time at Masala Wok. Highly recommended dishes are tandoori prawns and dabba gosht with chili garlic naan. Kind and courteous staff who were happy to help!

For starters we ordered the Malai chicken kebabs, they were perfect..well marinated, juicy and tender. For mains we ordered the chicken biryani, it’s Hyderabadi style and comes with raita, curry and some side of onions. We really enjoyed our visit.
