Another one from the house of Sanjeev Kapoor, Hong Kong features Asian cuisine inspired during his travels in the region. They believe roadside eateries stir-up all the magic and hence their menu has many street food varieties. We loved the fish chilli ginger(5/5) and the kothe dim sum(4/5). We also tried the drums of heaven(5/5), chicken hong kong(4/5), Schezwan fried rice(4/5) and fried rice(4/5). Unfortunately they forgot the chilli chicken but we received delivery on time from this oasis mall outlet and is one of the more affordable Sanjeev Kapoor chains. The attendant on the phone was also very friendly and so was the delivery staff.

We recently visited Hong Kong, the food outlet located in Oasis Centre’s food court. We had an early dinner here where we ordered the following asian dishes:Their HAR GOW, a traditional Cantonese dumpling served in dim sum, was tasty and superbly made. It came with a savory, blended tomato and garlic sauce that complimented all of the dishes that were served to us. But it’s still best paired with the usual soy sauce and garlic chili.Their NASI GORENG (chicken), on the other hand, had a big serving that was probably good for 2-3 pax. My husband and I loved the tender chicken satay, which were grilled to perfection. I, for one, loved the char taste at every bite. Though I would’ve preferred this dish to be a little hot & spicy, as there was barely any kick to it.PAD THAI (chicken) is a favorite Thai dish of mine. Sadly, Hong Kong’s version was a little bland for our taste. But what helped put some flavor into the dish was the sauces provided to us. I mixed the Har Gow sauce and sweet chili sauce into the Pad Thai, which surprisingly, tasted good. The serving, by the way, was also good for 2-3 pax.TOM YUM (prawn) is also my favorite Thai soup. What we ordered was pleasing to our palate, as it was mildly hot and spicy. It truly complemented the chilly weather that we just experienced outdoors. Anyhow, what was quite interesting was the mix of vegetables. The hot and sour soup had a nice addition of mushrooms, carrots, brocolli, and chinese cabbage. But mind you, all of these didn’t affect the overall taste of the Tom Yum. These ingredients actually some interesting textures. Plus, they put in a generous amount of prawns into the soup, which we really liked. We also tried one of their bestsellers, the HONG KONG SIGNATURE CHICKEN. While the chicken was tender, the taste of the sauce was a little salty for me. But I liked that the vegetables, especially the bellpeppers, weren’t overcooked (still crunchy). The peanuts also added some texture. It can feed about 1-2 pax.All in all, the dining experience and the food were good. The staff, especially Ms. Florelyn, was nice and accommodating. She made sure we knew what we were ordering, and that we’d like it.

This is a new discovery for me in this food court, at one corner. They don’t have a particular connection with Hong Kong though.I had a combo offer of Prawn and fish , fried rice, manchow soup in a glass, iced tea, spring roll at 38 dhs. It’s a bit steep, but I have noticed that nowadays ,it’s at par price with other food courts.Taste was pretty good. Specially loved the fish with pineapples. Amount was satisfactory for a person.Service was as in a food court.
