If you’ve been in Dubai for a very long time and still don’t know what a rigag is, then you need to get out of the rock that you’re living under and start exploring!HumYum was recommended by a friend who knows my love for rigags and dessert. This place combines my two loves and the end result is a perfect, crispy lotus rigag. The crunchiness of the rigag and the warm lotus spread goes perfectly with each other. They’ve got a lot of other flavors too and it’s not too heavy on the pocket.Loved it and definitely recommend it! 🙂
Local food is one my favorite but they didnt make me live it a lot! The chips oman and cheese parata was tasty but the lgemat were tasteless due to the honey! Adding dibs el kharoub tastes better like the ones in Global village (my favorite) and its price is a bit high, 20 dhs for 12 small pieces! Anyways it was a good try and will surely try other things next time!
Very average. I ordered tea and paratha with cheese and Oman chips. The tea was overtly sweet and they did not have an option of less or no sugar. The parathas was a bit soggy and so didn’t make it big on taste.
As we took a walk around the kite beach, in search of some food, this name seemed quite attractive. The closer look at the menu and we knew this was for us. Simple pocket friendly food and yet with so many variations. A nice place to hang out and relax when you are not in the mood of conventional food. crepe stuffed with oman chips and cheese and saffron milk on the side- how often does one eat something like that! The staff was very co operative and patient, which is usually not expected from a busy stall like this one We were a group of 11 people and half way through the staff ran out of core ingredients like parathas. We had to actually buy buns and provide to them to make sure everyone ate well. The reason for such a chaos could be because such a large group was unexpected. Or perhaps a better stock management could be thought upon.
We tried karak and cheese rigag @humyum , karak was ok and also rigag basically its any arabic dosa for those who hasn’t tried yet. They had lot of options in rigag. I think nuttela will go better with rigag then cheese for me.
