The humble cafeteria goes hip and adds attitude to service. No kadak and not apologetic, there are tonnes of these new age cafeterias that have imposed a ban on kadak themselves, which comes as a surprise. The only stuff I’d be okay with is their freshly squeezed juices, but should you prefer before ice or sugar, please promptly mention that, else you will be in trouble. The usual burger chips and sandwich stuff look good on their menu. Shawarmas on the go, yes, grills may be.
I’ve always loved these cheap and cheerful eateries, tucked into this city’s secret little pockets. The food tastes like the chef has been trained by his mother – there’s always a loving pat of butter pampering whatever’s on your plate. The cooking skips your stomach and goes straight to your heart. Its avocado shake needs to be on your food bucket list. Seriously, this shake sends #avocadotoast crying home to its momma.
Antar cafeteria is quite popular in this area! They have some delicious shawarmas and sandwiches! The sandwiches are a little small, so you might need more than one! Sit in your car, order and drive off or go inside where there’s plenty of space! Be warned, the ambiance is nothing great! Definitely worth a try if you’re not that hungry and just want a shawarma to munch on!
I apologize to Antar jumeirah for mistakenly writing a review about my experience which I had with Antar umm sequim. I have been and always will be the greatest fan of Antar and all the wonderful variety of late night bites and even healthy options of fresh fruit mixes which you can indulge after a great workout at your fav gym and not feel guilty about it.Once again sorry to be judgemental.. Both cafes have the same name and there has been an unintentional mix up.
This is the newer and better Antar in every way. The food tastes more or less the same but the service is much better AND faster and in terms of designing and arranging, they’ve done a pretty neat job.
