I have been ordering breakfast from here for years. If I’m down for a kerala style start to the day, I don’t even bother to look at other places on zomato.I usually go for their puttu and kadala, but the rest of my family loves their iddiappam-peas curry and puri bhaji. My favourite kadala dish in Dubai- hands down.
Quick bites samavor tea are the hot choice here. Snacks like samosa, banana fry, unnakaya etc are very delicious. Chicken Biriyani and mutton curry are also superb.
All of a sudden for breakfast i visited them. Ordered Masala Dosa, unfortunately it doesn’t taste good for me. The dosa was bitter in taste and the sides very not upto the mark. Price is economical but they must improve the standards.
What was orderedChicken polluchethyThis was absolutely disgusting and I would never recommend anyone to eat this or try itChicken samosaThis was still alot better and for the price I paid it was alright and eatable
Had fish Malabar curry, its really tasty with coconut based gravy and beef dry fry is yummy and porata is fluffy and soft service is quick will recommend
Parotha, malabar cuisine, dal fry – basics at economical prices and consistent in flavour/taste. They also deliver. So if in Al Ghusais-1 its a nice place to try out on a night when you are not sure what to order. They have recently renovated and have a family seating area on the mezzanine level but not all may be comfy going there with family – its a place frequented strictly by their language speaking families.
