Bandstand, the newly opened Indian sports bar as the name suggests has the essence of bombay sprinkled into its interiors and dishes.Tried an array of cocktails. Likes few, some not. The hot and sour whiskey was a hit. Loved the passion fruit one as well.Tried a lot of bar snacks like pop corn behl, prawns and fish kolliwada, vada pav, egg bhurji, chilli chicken etc. Loved the seafood kolliwada the best. Crisply fried chinks with the green chutney was amazing with the drinks. The egg burji was rather dry. The vada pav was okay but the behl was a miss.Liked the chilli chicken and the fried rice but they can definitely improve.They have a lot of potential and areas to improve but I am sure they’ll come up and rectify that.
Had one hell of a night here recently. From excellent cocktails to mumbai ka khaana they did a very good job. Pricing is very affordable compared to most other bars and they even have zomato gold. The pool table here also adds another dimension for a fun night. The service was good, ambience is good too with picturesque mumbai locations and you get more than what you pay for. We especially loved the vada pav and gun powder fries as munchies with the drinks. Dont forget to try them out when you visit..
