I went to their branch in Ascot Hotel Dubai. Service was good with many pretty North Korean waitresses who can also speak English and Mandarin. Tried their meat dumplings which was very big, juicy and tasty.
I went to Okryu-Gwan as part of a large group expecting something very unusual and this was certainly it. The menu is large and full of North Korean delicacies, all very well done. I’d urge you to be quite adventurous with the choices, as they were largely rewarded. Staff are very friendly and helpful.Highly recommend as an experience everyone should try once!
Okryugwan offers wide range of continental food + beverages in-house. I fully enjoyed the service and the food offered in this restaurant located at the Royal-Ascott Hotel. I will come back here with my mates to test out all the dishes, especially steaks.
My first Korean food and it was a great experience. Yummy food, fast service, and friendly staff. There was a live performance and looks great.
Ok-Ryu-Gwan is different from the other Korean restaurants I’ve been to since first, they are a North Korean theme restaurant and second, the food is cooked for you by the waitress at the grill.The food was absolutely delicious and they had the best marinated beef ribs I have ever had. The service was lovely but a little slow to begin with, but at the end of our dinner, one of the waitresses sang for us. If you prefer Hindi songs there was another waitress who could sing in Hindi as well. The food is a bit expensive but I believe it’s totally worth it for the amazing food and experience you get from eating at the restaurant. โฅ๏ธ
