Had been here for a family friends anniversary dinner party. I did read the review before I came to dine and wanted to see what people were whining about. When I entered they served us kiwi mint juice and then they started with the appetisers. Omg! I was so hungry!! They served us Mutton Sheekhs, Stuffed Mushrooms, Malai Chicken Kebabs, Paneer fritters sort of thing and Onion Pakodas. My two favs of all the Malai chicken is was nice and juicy, served hot and the best part it wasn’t rubbery! Second fav was the stuffed mushrooms, they well cooked. We were given the song request sheets we requested many songs and they did sing it expect they never mentioned the request was from who to who. They had dances and a lot more singing. I’m not a big fan of Ghazals. The Main course didn’t have much in variety but that’s okie because we fill out bellies with the appetisers so I guess the amount of main dishes were fine. I had their Chicken biryani, papad and Dal Thadka. I really liked the Biryani, chicken was cooked well and their masala was good. The Dal wasn’t great. It was too runny. I prefer a thick base Dal. We again had more singing and dances. We even requested the manager to get us a cake as it was our friend anniversary and they did. Their service was good and employees were very sweet and we didn’t have to keep calling them and troubling them. We had dessert. Not many in variety which was a bummer cuz you expect gulab jamun in a place like that. As we had the buffet we got gajar ka halwa, which I must say was so darn good. I’m not a fan of gajar ka halwa but I really liked this one and the fruit salad was fresh, they even served vanilla ice cream. Oh and we ate some cake! All in all I give this place a 3 cuz I wish the place was a little more bigger cuz it kinda gets cluster phobic and with the people smoking and stuff it kinda gets on to you and the music was a tad bit loud but I can’t blame them for that cuz they were singing Ghazals. I wouldn’t say I would be visiting again but I did have a decent dining experience.
The most pathetic restaurant in Dubai. The food really sucks and service is average. They have a live band playing Ghazals and Bollywood songs but if you are new there then your song requests shall be ignored by the band as they only play the songs suiting to their so called ‘regular guests’.Above all ambience is so dull and boring. I believe it’s a total waste of money as their menu is very pricey and taste is awful. My Personal rating for this restaurant is 1/10.
Good food. Not many dishes Poor Ambience and service Overall Doesn’t worth the money.Poor Service.
An absolute waste of money, half cooked rice , 2 options in starters, low market juice , no deserts, defunct credit card machine, pebbles in food are some of the problems you might have to face. Add to it a cold drink charge of 25 dhs makes it a strict no noOnly positive is good interiors.
