I recently had visited Underdogs with my cousin and we had a ball of a time! Loved the ambience, great interiors and a lovely food and drinks selection for all!! As we entered we were greeted by their staff and got seated, as we visited in the afternoon the whole place was to us and that was cool! We started with ordering our drinks, I don’t drink so I opted for their Virgin Pina Colada and Virgin Mojito. I kid you not, the Virgin Pina Colada was next level amazing! So so freaking good, has to be the BEST Pina Colada i have ever had! You should should have it if you are just like me! Nachos – The nacho’s were topped with ton of cheese, gauc, salsa and sour cream. I absolutely enjoyed the dish, the dish got a little hard after a bit but if eaten quick then it’s great! You should try it out! Pizza – Thin crust pizza topped with all my favourite veggies and so much cheese! The pizza missed a little seasoning but otherwise tasted amazing! Mumbai Masala Sliders – I really loved the flavours of the sliders, the veg nuggets were really flavourful, had lettuce, mayo and cheese. So good! The dish is served with fries and salad. A must try! Falafel Skewers – very authentic tasting falafels and tasted really good. Crunchy from the outside and soft from the inside and cooked really well! A must have! Veg Platter – Its a wild wild world (that’s the name of the platter, so cool yeah?) – The platter consists of four different dishes, the paneer was a melt in mouth with delish flavours, malai broccoli was very good, the broccoli wasn’t overcooked and the tandoord properly. I don’t remember the other two dishes in the platter but both were pretty amazing and so good! You should absolutely order this! A must have! Overall – Service was really good, food was amazing, their non alcoholic drinks were on point, ambience and interior really good, you would really enjoy underdogs with bunch of your friends. Surely coming back with my friends.
Visited this place day before my birthday and had couple of shots to start the night.Their alcoholic beverages were perfectly prepared and presented.- B52- Brain damage – MojitoTheir food was also good.We had pizza, buffalo wings with wedges, bbq wings, caesar salad, mixed grill and lamb chops.Everything on my table were delicious but what i love most among them were the lamb chops. They also have billiard table for everyone.Price is reasonable knowing that they are inside a hotel.Staff were so amazing and friendly. The place was as just right, good place to chill.Highly recommended.
A place that gives you positive vibes, football matches, good music, drinks and tasty food is definitely recommended. The Underdogs, based in Canvas Hotel, Mankhool, is your go to place to catch up with your group and enjoy a fun time. I was invited here for a tasting session. The ambiance is nice, with a bar, tables and chairs neatly set out, and tvs where you can watch a match with some drinks and bites. The music in the background is brilliant. Awesome playlist I must say. The servers there are friendly, courteous, and always on their feet to serve you.For the food and drinks, we tried out the following:Dragon fruit mojito: served chilled, this had dragon fruit, lime juice, mint leaves and topped with soda. Very refreshing and lovely I must say. Pina colada – a perfect blend of coconut cream and pineapple, this was very pleasing.UD Nachos: crispy nachos, resting under some salsa sauce, guacamole, jalapenos, cheese, cherry tomatoes and sour cream. These were very appetizing to munch on. Served with a yummy cheese dip.Falafel skewers: served with garlic sauce, these were subtly crispy and soft, and palatable to the palate. It’s all crispy: served with thick – cut, non – oily, seasoned French Fries and garlic sauce, these chicken strips were crispy from outside, with soft chicken on the inside. Flavourful and delicious, these are definitely a must try. From sambosag: four pieces of crispy and delectable samosas, with a filling of spiced, mashed potato was full of flavours and outstanding. Topped with tamarind chutney on top, these are surely a must order!Meet Marg, She’s Classic: margherita pizza, where you can choose your toppings, is quite interesting. We opted for onions, olives and jalapenos. It was thin crust, crispy and soft, flavourful and mildly spicy.Mixed bag: the non vegetarian platter – chicken tikka, lamb chops, curried tawa fish and lamb sheekh kebabs. The chicken tikka was succulent and had a spicy, toothsome marination. The marination of lamb chops was excellent and it was perfectly made. The curried tawa fish was tender and flavourful, and the lamb sheekh kebabs were thick, soft and full of flavours. These were served with fresh, warm naan breads. We also tried out some lychee and mango palate cleansers. Loved the flavours.Thank you The Underdogs team for hosting us. Will definitely come back soon to try other items on the menu.
Came here for the soft opening of this sports bar and really liked the overall vibe with buzzing music, good crowd and some nicely prepared cocktails of which we loved the martini and mojito the most. There were also some shooters which got us in the mood for a lovely night. We also got to try out some of the bar bites including lamb chops(4.5/5), chicken tikka(4/4), calamari(5/5 – this one is a must try), and falafel bites(4/5). The place was buzzing with a large crowd and lively environment and got busy but somehow the servers still managed to do a good job. Overall this seems like a really good upcoming sports bar in town..
If you are looking for a place to enjoy with a couple of your loved ones or friends this might just be the place for you. The place itself has a look of a local bar you see in the movies but brings a really cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy a couple of drinks with some delicious food.As this was on the night of Halloween, there were a lot of promotions going on and they are mainly focused on Jack Daniels whisky which is our favorite. For the food we ordered The OG wings with BBQ sauce. The wings itself are cooked to perfection and the meat comes right off the bones and the sauce is not too sweet either which was made it taste delicious. We also had their UD Nachos which is covered with Guac, Jalapenos, Salsa and sour cream and then topped with cheese all over. The Nachos tasted great with all the dipping sauces, however we felt that the cheese should have been cheddar cheese instead of the mozzarella. For the Starters our all time favorite was their Tempura Temptation, the tempura’s were just so crispy and delicious and especially with the garlic dip they tasted amazing. A must try in this place. For the main course, we ordered the greasy old jam Burger, which the beef burger was cooked well and it was delicious, however the bun texture was not so great. We also ordered their Mixed Bag which is a non-veg platter consisting of lamb chops, grilled fish, grilled chicken, and mutton kebabs served with mint chutney. One of our personal favorites, all the meat was cooked perfectly and had amazing seasoning to it.For drinks we went for their Honey Lemonade, which is a Jack Daniels Honey, mixed with some lemonade which was pretty delicious not too heavy nor too sweet. We also ordered the Pina Colada which was one of the best we have ever tasted in town. If you are more of a whisky person, we totally recommend you to go for the Whiskey Sour, one of the best drinks we have had so far. Also for non-alcoholics there are many options, we tried their Passion fruit and Chili which was the best thing we have had, as well as their Strawberry mojito which was pretty delicious as well.
We had been on a weekend and the place is just awesome. I loved the ambience and delicious food, good music and prices are very reasonable. Service was impeccable. It was indeed a fun-filled weekend. We loved it all.
Here for a weekend tonight! Just the perfect place ever. We have come here for a tasting, and the food is oh so good! The ambience and the service is to the point! There is absolutely nothing I could change about the place. Truly deserves no less than a 5! Sure to come again.PS, they have Zomato gold and prices are affordable too! foodandfrolic.com
