Although I live close by I’m so surprised that I have never heard of this place. Basically it comes down to the fact that the place looks a bit run down. But, good food, cheap shisha and decent service. Although it was mostly men and I was the only woman there, I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. I had the double apple shisha and falafel. Falafel was hot and oily but so good! The guys had their special grilled chicken which they are a huge fan of and have been visiting Al Fananeen for years! Go chill, enjoy shisha and play some cards.But be warned, they take only cash and waiters hardly speak English.
