Got the opportunity to try out the food here during an event at Al Bustan. They sure have a good variety of food and the servers are very accommodating. The ambiance in itself is not too bad. I have tried breakfast, lunch as well as dinner here during different days, breakfast being the buffet spread which I loved the most. I also really enjoyed their Salad section and I feel they do have the potential to improve in desserts. Overall a decent place to have food at if you are staying at Al Bustan.
I recently visited the restaurant through an invite I received. At first I was sceptical; looking at the average ambience, I only expected some ordinary food. However, i was absolutely stunned. The staff, especially Mrs April, were so warm and cordial, and I had the privilege to chat with the executive chef, Bhupal Tamang. His passion and drive to cook reflected in the food he served. We were served a mixed grill on a sizzler, which was a clever move. The components of the mixed grill were all handled will extreme care and delicacy. The meat packed with flavour, succulent, and well seasoned. The french fries were to die for. We were then served two biryanis; A chicken Tikka biryani and a shrimp biryani, and I must say that they were arguably one of the best biryanis I’ve ever had. The rice was moist, and the meat was cooked to perfection. I was truly gobsmacked. It ticked all the boxes of a perfect biryani. I also experienced the chef’s love as I tasted his Cheesecake. I’m no expert on technique, but I must say that it was definitely a divine mouthful. Without doubt, I highly recommend the Fountain restaurant; I can guarantee that no customer will be disappointed as Mr Bhupal’s passion will always deliver a plate of food that you will enjoy. Get swept away with the elegance , and superiority of this astounding bistro.
