The first and last time visit to this restaurant.The reason is, the place is very small, stafs are unattentive, lack in cleanliness and finally the price, which is very much high.With the current cost of chicken in the supermarkets, all the restaurants should reduce their price, specially on the chicken dishes.It costs me 28.50 AED for a Chicken Madhbi with rice, if I add another 3 or 4 AED I would get 2 Chicken Madhbi in well reputed Sharjah Mandi restaurants.And moreover the chicken was charcoaled a lot as it becomes hard and skin got charred too. The normal rice was good, but, don’t understand why they mix orange color rice.Anyways as I said it’s my first and last visit to this restaurant.One thing was good and my rating was for Soup and Tomato shatta.

Food, great.Price, okay.Service, below average.Ordered 2 mutton mandi and 1 kunafa (because my love for kunafa is never ending).Mandi tasted amazing. The mutton was perfect. But the quantity of the rice could have been more.Also the broccoli in the mandi was mot required. But for a price of 45 dhs for a single mandi, I wouldn’t pay again. I can easily get the same or better quality of mandi, in a better area.They should reduce the price at least by 5 dhs (since prices also depend on the area itself). The tomato chutney which always comes with the mandi didn’t satisfy me that much either. The soup pre to the mandi, tasted quite well.However, the Kunafa (priced at just 12 dh) was cooked to perfection. Probably coming to the restaurant just to taste the amazing Kunafa again. At such an amazing price and quantity as well.However, customer service wasn’t that great. People were kind, yes.But the waiter said there is no menu when we asked for one, but later we were offered a menu by the cashier.So I think the waiters and customer service have to solve the issues between them.Final review.Pricy.Tasty.Kunafa worthy.

Unimaginative name is not a reason for voting out GM. Just as you are advised not to judge a book by its cover. Mandi places are have an unsaid code of conduct, pricing and usual effortless service. Sometimes this may come across as lazy and indifferent. But once you place morsels of their meat madfoon, you may tend to escape the immediate by the sheer power of succulent meat portions. Best delivered at your doorstep.

A small, humble restaurant but a must try for Mandi and Madhbi fans. They serve good quality Mandi and Madhbi with chicken and lamb. Pricing is very cheap and service is good. Quantity is generous. Parking in the area is the only problem, however one can take the Dubai Metro.
