One of the best biryani places in townAmazing staff & service by Fahim & Elam desertglam.com
Have you experienced “Royalty”? Well, this dining experience is nothing less than experiencing Royalty. At the entrance of this restaurant, you are welcomed with smiling staff who will fold their hands in order to greet you saying “Namastey” which means Hello in English. You then walk inside a beautiful courtyard which gives a very princely vibe and almost makes you forget that this place is actually a restaurant. The servers will help you through the menu so that you can easily decide what dishes you would like to order. Every dish on the table was literally bursting with flavors which will give you a very traditional Royal Indian taste. We started off by orderingMurg Malai Shorba – It had a very good consistency and was quite rich in flavors. Absolutely loved the creamy taste of the soup and as I was suffering through a throat ache, this soup was much needed.Mulligatawny Shorba – Well, I was trying this dish for the first time. It’s basically a South Indian Cuisine and the word Mulligatawny is a Tamil word which actually means Rasam. It’s got a very thick texture and I really liked its unique flavors. Murg Tikka Salad – The presentation was kickass and this dish was created in a very Indian Style with few spices, chunks of tandoori chicken pieces and freshly cut onions, tomatoes, carrot, and the best part was the fact that it was placed on a papad and to enjoy this salad you need to break the papas and mix everything well so that you can extract the flavors out of it.Paneer Tikka Chutney Walla – It was served on a sizzling platter. The paneer had a perfect blend of spices and was quite soft, what adds to the dish is the grated chunks of capsicum which increases the spice level as well.Reshmi Kesari Kebab Chicken – If you are a kebab lover like me then this sizzling platter of Reshmi Kebabs will definitely make your evening. This silky textured royal reshmi kebab is resplendent chicken marinated in a special tandoori masala bursting with flavor.Banjara Paneer Kofta & Lachchedar Paratha – This was a delight to the palate with the rich and creamy gravy and beautiful chunks of Paneer literally melting in your mouth.Bhuna Ghost – Well, this dish stole the show for me. I am not a big fan of “Ghost” but always wanted to try the authentic bhuna ghost as it’s considered as one of the “Royal” Dishes. The “Bhuna” part in that curry enhances the taste to another level. It consists of pan-frying the meat with their special spices to give it a beautiful flavor which you just can’t get enough of! It’s a must-order.Murg Biryani Dum Waala – This aromatic biryani with long-grained rice was another hit on the table as the flavors of the spices which were used will literally make your tastebuds dance to its tunes.Shahi Tudka – Another Royal Dessert which you cant skip if you are having a Royal Dining Experience. Though it was a tad bit sweet for my taste, but it was quite soft and will definitely be a good pick if you are a fan of everything “sweet”Shahi Brownie – Now, this dish needs a special mention as I had never tried anything like this before, the combination of brownie and Rabdi! Yes, you read it right. They have these really gooey brownies drizzled with Rabdi and I dare you to stop after having a bite. You won’t be able to stop till the last bite. It’s worth every bite. After having such a lavish dining experience, all I can say was this place was truly a paradise for food connoisseurs. Every ingredient is rich in quality and flavors helping you to taste “Royalty” with every bite.

India palace is definitely one of the best settings for a relaxing night filled with live classical music, servers that treat you like a king and of course some delicious North Indian dishes. India palace was the perfect place to celebrate our love for Indian food before we start our diet and the butter chicken(5/5) was our favorite dish of the night. We also enjoyed the mango lassi(5/5), mutton seekh kabab(5/5), paneer tikka(4/5), garlic naan(4.5/5), laccha parantha(4/5), veg kofta(4/5), brownie with ice cream(5/5) and shahi tukda(5/5 – this one was amazing). Shovan treated us extremely well and was very accommodating to our requests which enhanced the experience. In terms of seating capacity the place is massive with extremely large seating capacity on 2 levels and even have private rooms.
