I used to stay in Abu Hail for a while and hence didn’t expect much from here owing to the location but I have to say I was gladly surprised. They have a large seating area with nicely done interiors and even a led screen so you cant miss the place. This will be one of few proper restaurants here in the area and even though the name is Mr.Biryani they served delightful North Indian cuisine from Kebabs, Fried starters and of course the Biryani. Our favorite items from the items we tried were the sea food platter and the accompanying dip, Mr. Biryani Special Chicken and Chicken Dum Biryani..
Mr Biriyani, located in Abu Hail, serves some amazing Indian and Chinese food. Don’t get deceived by the name which would make anyone think that they specialise in Biriyanis alone. We were served some refreshing fruit juices as soon as we entered- watermelon juice, orange juice, pineapple juice; and a friend even tried their kadak chai. We tried a variety of platters, one of them had drums of heaven, veg spring rolls, squid and prawns fry. Veg spring roll was the best of the lot! Another platter we tried was the tandoor seafood platter which had prawns, fish etc. these were not deep fried. Prawns was the best of this lot. Fish lacked flavours, nonetheless it tasted decent. We even tried their chicken kebab platter which had a variety of kebabs like the seekh kebab, chicken tikka, pahadi chicken etc. A decent platter this one was as well!Next we tried chilly chicken (Chinese dish). It was good, It had enough amount of capsicum and onions along with the chicken, which added to the crunch!Iranian Mix Grill is what came next! The varieties were interesting, but the overpowering taste of saffron in one the kebabs didn’t make it all that enjoyable; though it didn’t taste too bad either!Now comes the highlight of this restaurant- their biriyanis! We were served 4 varieties of biryanis and Chinese chicken schezwan fried rice. This fried rice tasted good. Biriyanis included chicken tikka Hyderabadi dum Biriyani, chicken tikka Lahori dum Biriyani and chicken dum Biriyani. In all the biriyanis, rice was cooked to perfection, with spot on flavours! We even tried their bread basket, with some curries- butter chicken, murgh Hyderabadi, mutton rogan josh and tawa vegetables. Everything tasted decent . Unfortunately, I had to cut short my visit to DCC for some emergency. Hence, did not get to try their desserts. But I heard only good things about the desserts here at Mr Biriyani. Overall, an experience to be cherished for a long long time ! Loved their interiors, lightings etc.Remarkable service as well! Thank you for having me . Thanks for the invite John Thomas!

It’s a very family centric place with lots of seating options and pretty pocket friendly too.I loved their Tandoori seafood platter, Irani kebabs and ofcourse my favourite was the Hyderabadi Dum Chicken Tikka biryani! It was the first time I tried Murgh Hyderabadi and I really enjoyed the rich flavours of this dish. Needless to say, this place is going to be on my speed dial button for my weekend biryani cravings

Located in the busy streets of Hor Al Anz, Mr Biriyani is a new restaurant that serves lipsmacking Indian and Chinese food.We have tried Iranian Mix Grill (5/5), Chicken Chilly (4/5), Tandoor Seafood Platter (5/5), Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice (4/5), Murgh Hyderabadi (4/5), Mutton Rogan Josh (4/5), Butter Chicken (5/5), Tawa Vegetables (4/5), Chicken Tikka Biriyani (5/5), Chicken Dum Biriyani (4/5), and Mister Biriyani Special Chicken (5/5). My favourites were biriyanis.Juices and ice creams were also served to us. Though we were a group of more than 11 people, the staffs have managed to give proper attention to each one of us. We have been waiting a long time for this place to open. At last the wait was rewarded. We ordered Mutton Dum Biryani and Chicken Tikka dum biryaniZ both were excellent. Quantity and price is just rightzAmbience 8/10Service 10/10Food is 10/10Price reasonable What is best is that they don’t charge for water which is good as mostly water is always exorbitantly charged in other restaurants. Parking is ample aroundOverall a great experience and will surely visit the place again. We also had the chef Jeevan visit our table which was nice.
