I like to try food everywhere from the cheapest restaurants to the ones that make you become broke for a month. But these guys have entered the lowest level especially when you smell the tomato they used in the sandwich they gave me. They used rotten tomatoes for god sake. Their juices are half sugar half fruits. Yuck and never again.
This hidden gem of a cafe is tucked inside a small community market near AlSufouh park. They have the wide array of fried stuff and the wide array of fruit juices you see in similar cafes. What makes them unique is the elusive Hassan Mathar which is a Dubai classic Shawarma originating from the institution Al Ijaza. If you haven’t had it, it’s worth trying. The flat shawarma has the correct balance of meat and cheese cut perfectly with tangyness and finished with the crispyness that comes with flat grill they use. Other goodies include their Shrimp Baharia, Chicken Spring Rolls, Chicken Fantasia and Chick Tacos (More of a Quesadilla 🙂 ) . All are filled with taste and enjoyable at a reasonable price.
Ordered broadster chicken and a chicken shawarma plate for take-out. Food was prepared in good time and was actually quite good. Chicken had excellent batter and the shawarma was great (neither dry nor oily, which is rare). Food came served with garlic and dip. The dip was not regular hummus and was excellent.
I have been going to this place for last 20 years and they never fail you. Shawarma are good and do try Hassan Mathars but there are spicy
Most authentic place ever. It has been here for years and never degraded in quality.BEST SELLERSHassan Mattar – just simple and perfect.Cocktail – an everyday drink to have after work to make you forget anything that annoyed you.Great cafeteria and well done.
i always come here to eat, good food for what its worth, obviously the it won’t be crazy good quality when you’re only paying 10 dhs for a sandwich, but i love their drinks
