This place is very overrated. I’ve been there for my anniversary and there is nothing special about it at all, except the location and views.1. My table reservation was at 9:00pm, and we arrived exactly at 9:03pm. We have been instructed to wait by the bar until the table is ready. We have waited for 20 minutes, without any news on the table, until of course, I called them and expressed my disappointment. The lady told me that they are preparing a nice table for me by the window, even though my reservation clearly mentioned an outdoor table, which was fixed eventually. Of course there was nothing special about the table. It’s a totally normal one that my 3 years old daughter could have prepared in 3 minutes.2. The restaurant has a sharing platter that includes the Norwegian Salmon. We didn’t opt for it because we do not eat everything included in it. So I asked the waiter if the chef can prepare the salmon as a main course since it is not listed in the menu. The chef rejected the offer immediately, and the waiter told me that they do not have the required tool to prepare it as a main course. Excuse me, but what kind of chef are you? And what kind of restaurant is that? Talking about customer experience and personalization.3. My wife ordered the Octopus as a starter, but of course, we were later been told that it is no longer available and that the last order has been placed exactly before ours. Seriously??? This ties back to us being seated late of course and not being able to enjoy this starter. Which I assume is good.4. One piece of advise for the head waiter. If you are working as a waiter for a fancy restaurant, that doesn’t give you the right to be arrogant. Whether it’s a fast food restaurant, or a fancy one, your job is to be down to earth and ensure your customers’ best experience. Instead, you got on our nerves. The waiter on the other hand, was great and very helpful.I must say, the food is good, but definitely had much better for lower prices. The location and views are exceptional and thus I gave the restaurant only 2 stars.As I said, the restaurant is overrated. If you are looking for an experience with amazing food, that’s not where you should go. If you want great views and pay thousands of dirhams for it, then that’s your spot.Personally, I was very disappointed from the moment I entered the restaurant. I am never going there.PS: For the management specifically. When you ask customers to upload their photos so you can greet them and make their arrival more personalized, use that capability, don’t just claim you do it.
